Today we will go to a new park nearby. I know Joshua would really love that. They have renovated the whole area last month and now it's ready for the kids to play.
I would also want the opportunity to take a picture of him getting dirty,so I can have an entry for tomorrow's photohunt.
On the other hand since it's Friday we will hit the grocery stores and probably asian market too later today.
Scrapbooking Talk:
A friend of mine wanted me to make an invitation card scrapbooking style since it's a girl I am looking for pink flowers for embellishments.
I was browsing the stores to see if I could find some and remembered Peppermint Creative has freebies every month. I haven't really downloaded anything from there since I started buying elements. So I went and checked and there it is the free kit is pink. I just really want the flowers,so just perfect for my project.
Click the preview if you want to download it too.
I'll update you with our Holiday Weekend co'z we planned something. That would be really exciting for Josh and his friends.

He plays like a pro
When Joshua was 2 years old he had his own computer already. Being exposed to this at an early age I think really helps him a lot. He can play almost every game from Disney Channel,Nick Jr,Noggin and many more. And of course I taught him other educational stuff online as well. One thing I observed is that he really loves music a lot. He browses itune to listen HS Musical soundtrack and also the Jonas Brothers. Ohhhh.... I am just so proud of my little angel!

Through The Years

Look how much he has grown. His first halloween was just like yesterday.
So I went shopping online for this year's halloween costume and this is what Joshua likes. A $50 dollar costume and it's on sale now for $24.99 pretty neat huh!
My little one is very excited and he can't wait to try this on.
The mysterious special ranger with the power of the sun.
The Power Rangers Mystic Force – Solaris Deluxe costume includes: jumpsuit with padded muscle torso and attached cape, detachable yoke, and character face mask with elastic band.

Hidden Treasure
I was cleaning up awhile ago and saw these pocket books in one of those boxes in my closet. Little did I know I still have this treasure of mine hehehe.... I used to read a lot, when I was in college. Somehow these got burried, when Joshua's toys took over the whole place. I put tons of my stuff away to keep the place organize,so that's why I totally forgot reading the rest of these.
This grab bag has the most unique and creative elements included inside. For $3 wow it's a great2x combo. You will never regret buying this guys.

Here I am again buying more digi stuff. Christina Renee is my new found designer. Her style is very unique and grungy, so I did purchase her skinny minis (ribbons) to take a closer look. Summer Fun
My little one really enjoyed feeding the birds, while we're in the lake the other day. Looking at him was so much fun. He had shared his chicken to these birdies. I was like ok eat the rest of your fries and chicken. But he insisted to gave the remaining 2 pc. chicken nuggets and fries crumbs to the birdies instead. He was so generous the whole time. We didn't expect that they would even group themselves like this and they aren't scared of us.It was really a treat for Josh.

This was another photo of him throwing rocks into the lake.

June 17th Events/Births/Holidays
Haze got me tagged!
What do you need to do? Go to Wikipedia and type in your birthday (month and day) on the search button place at left sidebar. You have to write down three events, 2 births, 1 holiday and tag 5 friends. There are five slots in the Birthday Meme. As you are tagged, you have to remove the name in the first slot and bump everyone up so that your name can be added to the bottom.
Events on June 17th:
1885-The Statue of Liberty arrives in New York Harbor.
1944-Iceland, officially the Republic of Iceland. It's a country of northwestern Europe.
1994 - The FIFA World Cup begins in the USA.
Celebrity b-day twins:
1980 - Kimeru, Japanese singer
1980 - Venus Williams, American tennis player
Important Holiday:
Icelandic National Day (the day of the nation's celebration). June 17, 1944, was chosen as the day that The Republic of Iceland (Lýðveldið Ísland) was formed. Iceland had formerly been under Danish rule. The formation of the republic repealed the 1918 Act of Union.
Feel free to grab this if you want to. I bet most of you have been tagged already.

I am married to a foreigner,so my answers are based on what I saw and observed in my husband. (Not in general)
Are Filipino guys more traditional? If so,does that mean their values are more intact than foreigners?
Is the stereotype true that Westerners have less sense of spirituality?
I can't say in general that they have less sense of spiritually. It's really up to the person. Westerners or not!
What about a foreigner's view of commitment in a relationship?
Well he is 6 years married to me now and of course it's a commitment. Right how he does everything he can to build a more stronger relationship and is very committed.
Family is very important to him so he really has a positive view of this thing.
How are they as mates are they jealous and possessive?
None of these describes hubby and no way a relationship will ever survive if your partner is jealous and possessive. Trust is the key to a great companionship! Believe me.
Is it true that normally a stronger woman is better off with a foreigner?
Hmmm.... i'm purely sensitive and could be weak sometimes. But everything seem to work out well between me and hubby. There's really nothing to be scared of at all. He is my other half and he takes care of me no matter what.

My Litte Treasure
I have so much fun photographing this kid and no doubt he loves to be photographed. It's rare that he complains about it sometimes, but most of the time he always has funny, cute and charming poses. As I looked at him everyday I realize he is not the teeny tiny baby anymore. I'll make a joke sometimes wanting him to stay 4 years old. There's just something about this age that is so endearing and everything he does just bring me so much Joy. No wonder I call him my little treasure.

Our Day
I'm glad I have plenty of time to spend with my little one this week. He is so happy that he sees mommy all week. I did a lot of cooking too for my guys. If I really2x get busy then no time to cook. I've been wanting to have rice, and Tuna with Mango salsa,so that's what we had earlier. Hmmm... that was yummy!
The rest of the day we're just goofin' around and watched High School Musical 1&2. Joshua loves the movies and the whole time he was singing and dancing. That was fun!
Photo Share:
This was him awhile ago eating his favorite French Vanilla Ice Cream and Corn Dog.
On the other hand, the romantic drama adaptation Nanny Diaries Film Releases August 24th. Definitely next in my list to be watched.

SYTYCD Finale

Last night was the season finale of SYTYCD and Sabra was anointed to be America's Favorite Dancer.
It was also great seeing my favorite routines again especially from Sarah and Lacey. I think all top 10 dancers were just amazing and I know after the show they all have great careers to look forward to. Though they didn't make it to the final 2 Lacey and Sarah are still my favorites this season. How I wish to have an inch of their skills, but no I am too far from being gifted hehe. Wouldn't it be awesome to see the tour LIVE?

Things You Don't Know About Me
I was both tagged by Darlene and Arlene, but it took me awhile to complete this tag.
I guess it's not too late and I would still love to share these anyway.
1. I can't stand people borrowing my stuff. I mean I just don't want anyone to touch it especially when I was in college.I thought of having a little bit of OCD before because I am obssessed of my stuff not being touch.
2. I am also weird sometimes because I constantly buy clothes and I don't wear them all. But I keep telling to myself what I am going to wear the next day. I love to just fold some of them and not wear them.
3. There was a time in my college days that I was obssessed with anything black & white, that all you see in my locker are all black & white. I'm glad I overcome this now!
4. When I was little I love to eat Milo and sometimes mixed it with rice hehehehe.....
5. I took piano lessons in HS and Taekwondo classes in college.
I am not an expert on this both, but it was definitely fun experiences.
