Part of our day was spent in the park. Joshua seems to love the new play place. They renovated the whole play area late this year and everything is brand new. The weather was great and it gave us the opportunity to spend some time over there today.

Take a peek of how it's like in our neglected room and play area. My guys love to play Lincoln Logs and I hate it so much. It's just too messy!

Platform Beds

Myke and I definitely regreted buying our other queen sized bed. It was reserved for Joshua but he doesn't like to sleep on there yet. Daddy ended up migrating to the other bedroom,when he really needs some rest and Joshua will sleep in our bedroom. So he really hasn't used it since we bought it.Oh well either way be it adjustable or platform beds still won't work for him since he wants to be with mom all the time.

Sporting his kick scooter

I am having dysmenorrhea today,but somehow I still managed to go with my guys to the park at late afternoon. Joshua was so persuasive and convinced me to go with them. Myke is sometimes unsure about taking photos of him since if he does it I would normally delete tons of them hehe.. and he knows it. He can't control his hands sometimes and took blurry photos. Oh well since Joshua had his complete protection gear on,so we decided to go even though it was getting dark already. After a short round over there we then took some photos at the park and looked at some lights at the homes nearby.

Leave the mess behind

This is the nature and how it looked like after everyone opened their presents last Christmas. No one really cares about the mess on the floor hehe..so as always it's going to be mom's job again. Not that I am complaining but that's just the way it is. It was fun though picking all what's left lol:). The important thing was we definitely made a 4 year old toddler happy at Christmas Eve. I can't ask for more!

Ultra PMS

I can still remember in HS when I started to suffer dysmenorrhea. It was a constant battle everytime my monthly period comes. I was just reading an article about PMS and all the symptoms physically and emotionally. Why do women really need to suffer sometimes.Oh well I think the best thing we can do it to take care of ourselves. If need be take supplements so we could avoid complications later on or try some like progesterone creme.

We want a puppy

Growing up we always have pets at home. I think Joshua isn't ready at his age yet. But honestly I can't wait to have one. I was just talking to hubby the other day about it and he has the same idea too. If in case we will be getting one in the future that would be another extra expenses just like the food and other dog supplies. So we will wait and see if Joshua will be interested.

Bye2x Christmas Tree

I would normally take down our tree the following day after Christmas. As I cleaned up all the clutters on our floor the night before. I realized there's going to be another work to be done just to take our tree down. I can't just spend another day just to clear the area,where the tree was.So everything was done in one day.My little one was so helpful yesterday as we were putting all the ornaments back to the box. He wished there will be more Christmas,but he was ready to let go of our tree. Like what I said in my previous post,that we are going to have a white one next year,so we said bye2x to our old tree yesterday. So now our place looks wide again and all the decors are back to their designated boxes again.I care so much for these ornaments,so I could use them again the following year if it still fits with our theme as well. I spent a hefty amount just for our ornaments this year.

Josh is being creative

After we got home from Joshua's dentist appointment today he suggested to make some cookies for snack. I agreed since we really didn't have much to do. We then settled for about 20 minutes and used the cookie cutters to mold holiday shaped cookies. I let him add the frosting and sprinkles on this one pan here.Here's the result of his.He was so proud of what he did and I know he put too much hehe.. and had fun eating them too. The holiday shapes didn't really come out good after it's covered with the frosting and daddy said it doesn't look tasty. But the important thing was we spent doing it together and we all had fun. A simple,cheap,and fun activity to do!

Mom's Specialty

Don't mind my son's hair because he just woke up. He grabbed right away what mom heated up earlier. Every morning if I am not on the bed anymore he knows I am either on my PC or in the kitchen. He will then ask me what I am cooking. That way I know he is hungry hehe.. He loves meatballs so much that's why I always have that in my spaghetti all the time. I am glad I had this ready before he woke up co'z he could be impatient sometimes. I didn't hear him scream this morning and it's so much better. Just feed him good!

Christmas Eve

I am glad Josh was able to wait til Christms Eve to open his presents. He's been so antsy days earlier.The night was really all for him and we were just so excited when he finally saw all his presents. It went great and I bet he loves everything he got. The last words he said to us was "I want more Christmas and I love Holidays" Oh in short he doesn't want to end the fun. We told him there are going to be more presents on his birthday.We actually stayed up late played board games,watched movies and solved puzzles. Lemon pie for dessert

Even though I don't feel good last night and woke up really tired this morning. I still manage to prepare something for us earlier. So I had prepared Broiled Tuna Fish with Mango Salsa and white rice. Then Lemon Meringue Pie for dessert. It's hubby's favorite. I had a slice awhile ago for lunch and it was pretty good. But here I am again craving for Chinese food we might go there later tonight. I thought last week was going to be the last one for this year,but can't get enough of their fried rice and Hunan Chicken my favorite and the hot and spicy soup. Early this morning was like 27º and now it's up to 52º. So gotta need some soup!

Got to shop and scrap

The past 3 days I haven't had a great night sleep.I am glad I was able to finally take a nap awhile ago. It's been really slow today so had my cleaning done instead and spent time with my little one. Since there isn't much to do I had this urge to check scrapbooking stores again. Too bad I can't just leave the stores without buying. So the result was I purchased 4 pack of elements and created a new scrapbooking layout. Probably these will be my last purchases for this year. Hmm.. and I keep saying that last month,but I had countless purchases the following week. I bet everyone is really busy especially Christmas is coming. Just have to share! Even though my tree is covered with great and colorful lights already. I still want to add another set of new blue lights. I just love the effects of this color. So last night Joshua volunteered to help and played with them a bit. He suggested to wrap those lights around his head and what else mom can do. He looked like he was really having fun. I was a bit scared because he tends to squeeze those lights. Oh well I just watching him really close and finally we put it up.

Property Investment

Myke's sister just bought their retirement home in MN and the size of the land they got is absolutely huge. It was so beautiful there and we really had a great time last summer. They were actually looking for three different places and the one they got is just perfect.Real Estate is still growing and wherever we are we could still find beautiful homes to live in just like this folly beach homes for sale.

We visited Santa

Two nights ago we went and visited Santa in the mall. Joshua wants to talk to Santa personally and he wants to tell Santa what he wants for Christmas. So this is Santa's hideout in the mall.He had a picture taking with Santa as well. Just right when we got home today the mail man came with 2 packages. That was actually his toys Myke ordered and thanks God I was able to trick him and told him,that it was indeed the gifts from Santa. But Santa won't allow kids to open it yet before Christmas time. So now that he is asleep I had the chance to hide them and would wrap the rest later tonight. Josh is very impatient too,so that was really close. It could have not been a surprise anymore lol:)
Daddy didn't even tell me what he was getting for him,so no idea what are those either. I ask him one time where Santa lives and he answered me in the mall haha..

Mall time

Gosh my feet are killing me right now. I didn't even realize we were that long in the mall.I was just going to pick up gifts for Myke and my little one wanted to stay for awhile. So he went to different rides again this time. We then head to this person selling balloons and I got a spongebob one fo him. Then we had to rest for a little bit and ate our lunch after. Too many things to see in the mall that's why I did not notice how long we've been there already. Some stores don't have much people assigned on the floor,so it takes me forever to call someone to help me get the right sizes of the shoes. That was very time consuming since I really don't have patience waiting. I skip looking for other things. I just let Josh play the rest of the time and we also visited Santa's hideout again in the mall today.Both guys are sleeping right now,so can have time again on my PC. Here are a few photos I took. My Baby Dolphin

Last night we were watching Joshua's swimming video. We enrolled him when he was barely 2 years old. Too bad we didn't let him continue,but we have a plan that we are going to enroll him again next year. I bet he would be more cooperative next time around and no doubt he loves to be in the water. It was really fun as we watched it last night Josh has really changed a lot. He was a chubby baby all the way up to 3 years old I believe. Now as he is getting taller, then he loses weight too. What a great memory that was and it's really fun being in the water with him. It was nice seeing other moms with their kids as well. The activities are very interesting and the kids loved it. It's not just plain swimming lessons there is also this singing part,so too much energy to be used. It does entertain everyone!

Assorted Chocolates

Hubby came home today with 15 boxes of chocolates of this kind.These are to be given away to family,friends and close neighbor friends. We love to do this every year co'z we don't really need to have wrap them. Just hand it to them since they're already in a box. Hubby loves chocolates no doubt about that. My favorite is Ferraro Rocher I just love the hazelnut and the chocolatey filling. Oh well nice to have sweet treats once in awhile.The holiday won't be complete without it!

Does it really matter what size of house we're living in?Sometimes I will joke around hubby and ask him what if he will win millions of dollars. Would he buy a million dollar home or not. His answer is no and I said why not hehe.. I think his reasons are really valid. I was just staring at my wall decor and noticed all the dust on it haha..
I have really neglected dusting this for quite awhile now. This stuff is somewhat memorable to me because I used to have a neighbor,who is a Thailander and this is one of the stuff we purchased together. They had moved out downtown and never heard from her for almost 2 years now.We're always out looking for more stuff. One time I remember we always talked about Feng Shui a lot and she's such a big believer of this ancient Chinese practice. Wherever she is I hope she's ok!

Too bad i'd missed the Ellen Degeneres show yesterday. I was really busy that I couldn't just wait until 3pm/c. But still I had a glimpsed part of Charice Pempengco's segment in one of the blogs I visited earlier today.Thanks God the author posted the show and I think she did great with her perfomance yesterday. I could really see a brighter future for this girl.Though she was a bit tense but truly she made us proud. Oh well her perfomance was really touching. Anyway,Myke came home yesterday with three bags of these California Clementines.We call this our winter snack or people call these "cuties". These clementines are really sweet and we all love it. Have you guys tried this one?They're easy to peel too. You better try it!

Josh was so sweet when he handed this camcorder to me awhile ago.He was with daddy when Myke bought it. Just really wanting to have one,that is portable and that I could carry around. When I want to quickly video tape him or when we go places. Sometimes I can't take my bigger camcorder since I have my digicam with me. This one is really just like a size of a cellphone,so I can just put it in my purse and can use this right away,when I need to.
