At first I just wanted a great lens good enough for taking portraits and then my love of macro is born. I didn't think I am really this adventurous. But lately I just can't stay at home. All I want is go to places and take photos. I still have too many things to learn.I don't think relying to auto all the time is a great idea. Honestly, I am tired of it.I just actually started using the advanced techniques. I want to expand my knowlegde on this whole photography thing. I spent 2 days reading this photography book that I bought and now I am hungry for more. I am surprised of the little things I didn't notice before like the exposure settings and this book really helps a lot. It's really a challenge to learn and since owning an SLR is really what I wanted it's just wise to take advantage of it.I've been eyeing on this lens since Christmas and yeah I waited this long just to make sure I will get the right one. I finally bought a Canon 100 mm EF f/2.8 Macro USM Lens. I can't wait to find the littlest creatures out there and see the result. So would I call myself a macro nut now?

That's why your photos are gorgeous! I wish I can afford an SLR. Maybe next year. ;) Have a nice weekend!
I would love to have an SLR, kaso hindi kasi top priority sakin yan eh, mejo napupunta sa mga gastusin namin mga kinikita namin hayy.. siguro one day when I have lots and lots of time here sa bahay, would love to have a great camera to take pics of everything great in the world! I can say I'm a macro nut ren, gustong gusto ko yung mga malalapit talaga kuhanan mga bagay. lol
I just bought a secondhand Nikon D50 two weeks ago in the hopes of taking better photographs. Good luck to us and more great photos ahead of us :-)
I can't wait to upgrade my camera. I'm so jealous :)
Congrats on your new purchase.
wow isn't that expensive?..congratz...ako before I start buying some lenses I need to learn my rebel...haha hanggang ngayon I still don;'t know how to use it hahahah..feels like I've wasted my money kasi di ko natutunan hahahah
I was out at a state park today with my old Nikon N60, the first time I've been out taking pictures in months. I missed the opportunity for some amazing shots of a wasp on a flower as well some seed pods that were opening on a few plants because all I had was my ProMaster 28-80. I was grouching to my girlfriend about the lack of an appropriate macro lens. I'm jealous, I hope you have fun with your new toy.
hehe! mao na gusto ni art paliton para sa ako but i wanted the telephoto and honestly i have no regrets kac i can take pics of the baby without flashing on his face. i can be like 3meters away from him and i can take a close up, lol! anyway, enjoy ur new lens. it's really exciting. ako pod when hubby asks where i wanna go, akong tubag anywhere where i can take pics, lol!
