El Pollo Loco: Flame-grilled chicken

I am not surprised if my family will go eat out twice or thrice a week to El Pollo Loco. We have this addiction and we are always hungry for more. It's certainly the best in town. When I was pregnant with Josh I always crave for their flame-grilled chicken and thank God hubby is so quick in buying them. If you haven't tried it yet you better check it out the one near you. You gotta love it! We tried to do grilling chicken on our own,but it didn't come close to El Pollo Loco's flame-grilled chicken. They definitely have the best chicken available.

Just You

I am so glad I spent a lot of time with Joshua this week. Everyday he is learning new words. He's been really doing good with the reading as well. He read to grand mom last night and they were just impressed. He had fun though and he was so interested to let lola hear him reading. He is just so willing to learn and I was a bit surprised that he came out really aggressive. The first time I heard Josh said he is ready to go to school was after he completed reading the first five sentences we studied.That was just the best feeling ever. If you might not see me around much I am here taking a break and spending time with my little guy. Anyway, just have to leave you off with this photo.

Weekend Snapshot

It's been exciting day today. Joshua has been reading and writing many words and small sentences. He hasn't want to work on any of this previously, but today he just seem to bloom and now he has a hunger for it. Now we have to get more writing materials because he used up all his papers. I am proud of my little guy!

Relocation

Growing up I can't even count how many times my dad was relocated. It was so normal to have different schools every other year. It was a bit tiring moving from one place to another. Until one day my mom decided it was enough. He needed to find another job or else the rest of the family will be staying and that was final. But if you want to keep your job I bet corporate relocation won't be as bad.

Totally Shocked

I am in shocked I believe since 2 days ago lol. Tons of really unacceptable things happened this week. Things are getting crazy and I can't just comprehend lol.
First someone had used my sister's video from You Tube. That was her entry for this El Pollo Loco opp (Chicken Dance). She got rejected because it was traced that someone had posted the same video in a different site. I can't believe someone will just grab this opportunity and steal someone else's work. It totally made me mad. Now my sister is working on a different video hoping she would still be compensated for the $25. I am not going to post this website anymore because this has been discussed in the forum.
In addition, like what I said to some of you before that PR isn't consistent and yeap after hardly 2 weeks of gaining that PR in my other blog it got slapped again.Oh well life will go on.

Chubby Baby

Do you recognize this baby? I was just browsing our vacation album awhile ago and saw this photo of Josh that I love so much. I believe he was only 8 months old in this photo. This was taken in my parents house during our last vacation in 2003. I managed to visit Phils. when Josh was still 7 months old. If only I knew I should not have gone there by myself. The trip was horrible and it was really tiring with a baby with me. When we got to my hometown I think it was still worth visiting there. We spent two months over there and we enjoyed every minute we were with friends and family. I haven't really shared Josh baby photos,so I thought of posting this one that I like. He sure was a chubby baby.

New York Tours

Last year had been really wonderful because we were able to travel again. We are looking forward to having another trip to the big apple this year for our family reunion. This is going to be a huge event because everyone in the family is going to be there. Definitely the most awaited event this year, where everyone could gather and the chance of knowing each one in the family is really great. I can't wait for this event we decided to have tons of activities this year compare to last year. I bet sightseeing tours is definitely included. Hubby is super excited about this event and he talks about it every night. He is really happy that finally all of the relatives are cooperating for this grand reunion. He finally purchased our tickets the other day so we're definitely going. We can't just missed all the good stuff in there and New York tours is the best. Hubby is huge in visiting museums of modern art. Maybe have a lunch or dinner cruise or even have a taste of a helicopter tour. Still kicking

Wow last weekend had been really a total rest. Didn't feel like doing something on the net. I neglected this blog for days now. I just love spending time with my little guy. We got him his new PC desk and set it up last weekend and now he is enjoying it again. Our glass table collapsed the other week and it could had been worst.The whole unit landed on my arms and Josh got a booboo as well. I know the desk needs to be replaced. So dad shopped last weekend and I am glad it's all set now.
Look what I bought the other day. I was like a kid jumping in the asian market when I saw these. It's been a long time since I have not eaten any of these. I know it's so rare to find our junk foods in pinas. But so glad we went there and I was munching a whole lot on the way home. I bet these are also some of your favorites including those other ones that aren't really available here at all. The green mangoes were sure a treat.

These are the kind of songs I love to listen everyday. My CD player is pretty much on all the time when I scrap. My little guy loves it too and even though he doesn't know the lyrics too well he is still trying to sing with me. He will just do the humming and I think it's really cute. I ordered this online and I don't think they have this complete collection available in stores. So I take these with me wherever I go.

Health Supplements

I don't think I am getting enough vitamins because I am very picky with foods sometimes. I feel unhealthy but at least I am able to maintain my weight and no worries of taking diet pills. I am slowly starting to love some of the green vegetables and I think they aren't bad as I thought. I know most women who are involved in sports are really taking health supplements.

Fitness Equipment

Hubby is so determined to go to the gym and plan on going at least thrice a week. I hope he can have time for this he is sure one busy guy.He walks every morning but it's frustrating when you can't see the result right away.I guess he needs to have other fitness equipment like ellipticals,bikes or something else that works for him and fun to do.

Macys is closing

I love going to Macys because whatever I need I can find everything there. it sure saves time shopping than going to different places. I am sad that they're closing here in the mall where I go frequently. After Christmas the store is just bare I can't still believe they're shutting down in my area. There is still another one close by but the parking in the other mall is terrible. I hate going places that you will scratch you head first before you can find a spot to park to. Anyway, it's not the end of the world I can still shop if I really want to. And yeah that shopping part will go on and on. Anywhere as long as there is something to spend lol.

Fun shopping

Do you have plans already what to give to your loved ones this coming valentines day. Oh well after my shopping spree last holiday I haven't been out buying anything yet. But I am starting to browse online to see if if I could find coupons I could use. I want to surprize hubby again. He would normally just say no and doesn't want anything. Indoor Fun

We will be visiting great wolf waterparks next month. We already planned on going there. This one we love because it's indoor and there are suites nearby to stay ,so if we want to we can stay there a few nights. We just found this out last weekend and hubby is thrilled to take us there. They only not have waterparks but also have other great ameneties really perfect for the whole family. But we are more excited to visit their massive indoor waterpark.I know Josh would love this so much. We used to go to this Hawaiin resort but they aren't open until summer time. Probably won't miss their full service spa as well. That would be awesome for me to find a relaxing time alone hehe..away from my guys. I bet we're going to have a blast over there.Just have to finalize the date,their exclusive offers and other add-on package hope if will be sooner.

Women can never have too many purses. Yeap you heard it right and our shopping is never ending. I for one love to collect purses and I don't know why I can't just use one over and over again. We sometimes match our purses to what we're wearing and that's us. You can't change it these stuff are definitely a must have. We tend to be embracing the trend and what's popular out there. Don't deny because women are totally addicted to designer handbags. I have read tons of fashion magazines and some of my purchases are inspired based on what I saw from other people especially celebrities. More scraps

I am pretty upset this morning my software keeps shutting down. I was finishing one layout and there it was again. Oh well I am going to upload a new layout later then just have to share these other two I created last weekend. I've got to play various NicholeVan PSE5 photo actions as well. I am loving every minute of it. It's a lot easier to edit photos that way. Most of the time I don't even tweak her settings anymore. My photos look much different now. I am still itching to buy her other photo actions as well. Just need to invest for CS3!

So last weekend I was following this thread in the forum about NicholeVan's Photo Actions. The moment I saw her samples I fell in love with it right away. She has only 2 sets available for PSE5 the essential color pop and essential B/W. For $39 bucks I think it's worth the money. No doubt Joshua loves to be outside. His friends are very limited here that's why his dad always make sure we can take him to different places. The zoo and the japanese garden are next to our list. We're definitely going back there this year again. More on outdoors so that he could run around freely and enjoy. The Skinny on Weight Loss

My hubby is certainly in the process of losing weight. I am glad we are starting to see the results each week. Too bad we sometimes eat foods that are unhealthy but it seems like we are back on track now. We made so many changes in the past months. We definitely drink lots of water now than we used to. We are also trying to cut back sodas or even juices and of course eating out. Junk foods are very enticing and yeah it tastes good no doubt about that. But sure it doesn't help our bodies where are the B-Vitamins,fiber,potassium iron, magnesium our bodies need. After we started buying healthy foods the truth is I crave for green vegetables and wanting to have soups all the time. So far we were able to stick with our plan and were positive to follow a healthy lifestyle from now on. No signs of snow

So every week I see different snow photos from those blogs I visited. But here in Tx still zero hehe.. A few friends of mine said they hate snow because they can't go out all the time and they're stuck inside. It's scary when you drive and it's a lot of work afterwards. Well since I haven't been covered with thick snow,so I always wish Tx will have some this year-(Wishful thinking because it's very rare here). This is it guys Texas weather very clear blue skies. It does get cold too and we're down to 20º this month already but no signs of snow yet.

Home Entertainment

We definitely love Bose products. Hubby got me this earphones last year and totally loved it and also that wave radio he got me years before. Until now it serves as my clock in our bedroom because it comes with it too. But don't you just love this Bose home theater system. It would be awesome to update ours. These are great electronics!

I've been looking for a perfect photo for my other blog's header. I finally got it and just updated the look as well. It's just really simple nothing fancy at all. Time hasn't really permit me to sit long enough on my PC to revamp my other page. So yeah,just have to keep it going now!

Where are my pens

Why is that everytime I am looking for pens I can't seem to find one. My little one just loves to mess up my desk and will grab stuff on my table including those pens. It's one very useful thing and it annoys me sometimes when they're misplaced. That's why from now on I will make sure there's one in my purse all the time.

Pop-up Blocker

What else could be the most annoying thing you will encounter when you browse online. Definitely those pop-up ads I hate those what do you think. I visited sites that just totally froze my PC up and yeah it sucks. To avoid those better have popup blocker that way we can detect viruses or other malicious web sites and can definitely make sure we are safe browsing online.

Floating Fishing Combo

I mentioned earlier that Joshua got his own fishing rod and this is actually what he got. We just took him to a nearby pond instead and pretending he was fishing. It doesn't have a real hook and the bait is Plankton one of the Spongebob characters. As you can see in the photo he got all those dead plants from the pond. It took him probably half an hour doing it over and over again and he was just excited releasing it to the water and looking for fishes out there. It was fun!

I would totally confess that I am hooked watching videos online be it funny videos,celebrity music videos or videos of just ordinary people. Last month I've been following two young women who are very talented and because of their home videos that was shown world wide they became popular. It's truly entertaining watching these people who have talents and haven't been discovered yet. Weekend Fun

Another fun weekend for the family and we did many things yesterday. We went for a picnic,stroll,and went shopping. But since Joshua got his Spongebob fishing rod so we also took him to a nearby pond and let him fish over there. He was a bit frustrated since there were not many fishes came out hehe.. Oh well it's too cold for them. He is very fascinated with the fishing rod and we know how much he wanted to make it real. We also packed some snacks when we went out strolling and stopped by at this one place where there were a bunch of trees and decided to have our lunch over there. So we were a bit adventurous yesterday and just love the nature walk. Weather has been great so we could go outside and have fun anytime.
