Josh was so persuasive to sit on top of this guy here. When we got home he wasn't so thrilled when I told him they look-alike haha..Of course I was kidding and my little guy is a lot cuter. He loves to go to the zoo and we have the whole year to enjoy. I just love this photo of him!

4all Memory

My brother is so huge in computer games and the computer we sent needs a new ram or what we call Random Access Memory. My family had been having computer problems for awhile and I am glad it's fixed already. That was a pain having to ship a computer from the USA to the place,where there's hardly a computer repair shop. Every simple accessory that's not available there we need to order it here. When it comes to computer problems here at home Myke's friend is just a call away. Neither one of us has the ability to do what others can. So he mainly relies to his techie friend. It's always nice to consult a specialist to areas we are not good at,especially if it's computer related.

Summer Fun

Hubby is so nice to book a family trip this year and of course everyone is super excited. What else could be the perfect family gift? Summer is just around the corner and I bet everyone is looking forward to visiting any of the top destinations of the world. If you're adventurous I bet you won't miss going to any of the world cruises either.Eventhough our trip this year isn't going to be in Europe,Hawaii,or Carribean,but I know it's still going to be a fun journey.It's definitely something we have hankered for awhile and finally we have it booked.No doubt it's going to be a terrific Summer!

Last resort

I feel so lucky that I don't have to deal with any kind of facial problems.I have friends that have absolutely unflattering faces because of acne scars. So it doesn't hurt if we are extra careful and take good care of our skin. It's also important to wash our faces before bedtime to avoid any facial problems, especially after putting on any kind of cosmetics to beautify our faces. Nobody wants to have a scarry face and I know it's something most women dread.If you're unlucky enough to deal with it,then I hope you can find the appropriate acne treatment available in the market today.

Shooting for fun

It was kind of boring here awhile ago. Then my little guy gave me an idea to play with my camera.Hubby bought me a bouquet of flowers yesterday for our anniversary. So I had the chance to shoot these water droplets. My little guy was so curious of what I had been doing. So I was bombarded with a lot of questions. I mentioned before how he loves taking photos too.But I didn't let him play this time because I was using a heavier lens which was my 100mm macro. Here are a few photos I took!

A Celebration of Love

Hubby and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary yesterday.As always he had to work until 5pm,so we waited until dinner time to celebrate it. Nothing fancy we just went to our favorite Mexican restaurant for dinner and exchanged presents afterwards. In addition, hubby also booked a short family vacation trip and we will be leaving three weeks from now. It's just really a simple celebration to remember.

Delight

We spent the whole day yesterday at our relatives place in Greenville. Hubby's brother bought a new land,so they showed us their new place where they're going to build their house. They had everything set up well for the afternoon siesta inside the property. We definitely had a great time seeing them yesterday.Even though it was a long drive,but we still went to see them. It's very rare that all the relatives can get together and yesterday was just the perfect time. So that was our memorial day weekend!
On the other hand, I woke up feeling crappy today. For some reason my right leg is hurting so bad. Hubby said since I am not used to long distance walks,that might triggered it. What a bummer! I just want to stay on bed all day,but my sister was online earlier,so I need to get up. These donuts were all I had for brunch. I definitely need a great meal in dinner time. Gotta go!

World of Blogging

It was early 2005 when I started blogging and no idea I would still be around after 3 years.I have met some of them,whom I interacted with online and this whole experience has been really amazing.They're also moms like me and so we just clicked right away.Without our own personal blogs maybe we should have not known each other in real life.The most exciting part of blogging is to be able to share our life experiences,daily adventures and learn something from it.I have learned so much and no doubt I have enjoyed blogging.Along the way I have encountered amazing bloggers,who just keep inspiring me over and over.From them I have learned the importance of my journal and having the advantage to personalize my blog the way I want to is definitely a plus.From getting your own domain,dealing with codes,tweaking templates,web hosting tutorials or even learn ways how to monetize my blogs.There's just so much to learn and if you're as adventurous like me you would love to be part of this. There are tons of helpful sites,who could help you when it's your turn to discover the world of blogging.

Hybrid Scrapbooking

I am kind of excited to try hybrid scrapbooking. I haven't paper scrapped before and seeing all the wonderful projects online makes me want to try it. Making altered project is kind of cool too.Using the templates available for printing might be a great start.I know one day I will be able to create a hybrid album for my little guy. I just love the realistic look of it compare to my digital layouts. In fact, the first thing in my mind right now is to design the cover of my photobook.A few other things I would love to create are gift baskets,cards,photobooks,themed projects and a lot more.

Anniversary Month

Hubby and I will be celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary this month. No idea what's his surprise for me. He tends to not really give me a hint of what's his plan for the big day. I was just browsing online and saw this Bertolucci watch. This totally makes me drool.What else could be the perfect gift. Oh let this woman have it. I know we will both appreciate whatever we come up with.

Summer Essentials

My little guy spends so much time in the pool lately.I've been also shopping some new swimming gears for him.We are so ready for Summer and we can't wait for our Seaworld vacation getaway next month.We still got a lot of things to prepare for this trip and I'm very thankful we have enough in our savings account to spend for this trip. We've been wanting this so bad and next month is really the perfect time.

Music Fun

My little guy is into music a lot lately. Daddy is convinced to let Josh take piano lessons. He is so obsessed with the Naked Brother's Band and that's where it all started. I can tell Josh has a potential of learning at such a young age.I want him to be motivated and continue doing what he loves to do. Oh well I am kind of excited because there's actually a Youth Summer Program in one of the colleges nearby. The Piano course is specially designed for a child and an adult to attend together, providing the opportunity to strengthen parent-child bonds. That's what we love about this course because I could actually be able to attend,so our little one won't feel left out.

Obsessed

I obviously don't have my scrapping mojo as of the moment.But went ahead and bought these kits anyhow. I honestly owned everything of Jofia's designs. I think she's the most generous and talented designer out there. Per kit has an amazing variery of elements and you will not regret buying any of her kits. You can use it over and over again. It's certainly fun,unique,not boring and easy to use. There's always something you will like about her stuff.

Security System

My friend just mentioned about this whole vandalism thing going on in their neighborhood.They suspect it could be group of teenagers just wanting to damage any property.These are definitely the type of kids,who don't have proper parental guidance.I bet everyone's priority right now is to have a home security system.I don't know where else is safe. Even in parking lots it could be dangerous too. So to be surely safe especially at home get ademco security products.If we do it right it could definitely save lives and hopefully less damages in the future.

Wildflower Festival

I would love to go to the Wildflower Festival in Richardson TX,but hubby is going to be very busy this weekend. I know Myke would love to see the concert. I am not sure if we can make it on Sunday that's going to be the last day. No idea with my little guy I bet he would really love the Kidz Corner. They have the art contest,butterfly habitat,rock wall,petting zoo,bounce houses,face painting,and a lot more. And of course tons of cool prizes.Must be a fun weekend if we can make it. The only thing that I am not thrilled about is that we can't bring "professional camera equipment" defined as any camera with detachable lens. Too bad I don't have my P&S camera anymore lol.

Lights: The Last Thing on Your Mind

No idea who the singer was when I saw the new Old Navy commercial. I successfully found it in you tube and she's Valerie Poxleitner a Canadian pop singer and songwriter. Wow this song is wicked I just love it so much. My day won't be complete without watching this on you tube. I can't get enough of the song. Love love it!

Luxury Mattress

When it comes to mattresses we always get the best. Especially, now that my little guy is not sleeping on his car bed anymore. We want to make sure he has the most comfortable new bed to sleep on. I know he could use it for years and I don't think we will be changing anytime soon. It's definitely a great transition from his baby car bed and I am glad he loves his new room. I love You

The day before mother's day Josh called his dad and told him to buy white flowers for me. That was certainly the most touching words I've ever heard from him. My heart was pounding as he pursued daddy on the phone and I told Myke afterwards that was absolutely Joshua's idea. That was really sweet of him and it totally made my day!

Baby Dolphin

We can't still finalize where to enroll Josh for his swimming class. There aren't many schools nearby and not sure where is the best. We have visited 2 swim schools so far and hopefully we could decide at least this week. We also spent time in the swimming pool lately. It's been pretty hot last weekend,so we decided to unwind in the pool.Here's my little guy splashing!

Beauty Routine

How upsetting could it be waking up one morning and realized how old and dull we look. Oh I would definitely want to avoid that moment. I have a very simple facial care routine each night and I just want to feel fresh before I go to bed. Weight and facial problems are women's pet peeves I believe. Every promising products available in the market today. No doubt,we are certainly buying it just like the lipovox. Of course we want to look good all the time and we can't just get enough of beauty products. Make sure your beauty routine is working for you!

Extra Expenses

We recently have 3 vehicles and each car is insured. Though our little Honda Civic just serves as a back up in case one breaks down. We still make sure to include it in our car insurance policy.
It's a little bit high as of the moment,especially that the gas price is still rising. We're definitely going to cut back our expenses on extra few things and focus on saving money. I think all we really care is to survive right now.

Online Bookstore

I was just talking digital photography books in my post earlier. I am also reading the recent reviews from Amazon and now I know I am definitely buying the book. There are still a lot of things to learn when it comes to taking great photos and I am excited to learn all of those step by step. No hurry I am just starting out and if this would help me improve my skills. Then why not buy it!

Business Management

When I was in college I was pretty sure that majoring Business Management was perfect for me. Prior to that I was an Accounting student and it seemed like I wasn't really happy with my classes. I realized one day it wasn't something I would love to become. I know I have a different path to follow through and I am still working on it. So anyone who are in the business field are sure very patient to handle such a thing. Managing business isn't an easy task and I know everyone,who are in this field experiences the pressure. Be it management reporting or financial reporting.

Digital Photography Books

Each night before I go to bed I would spend time reading this book first (Digital Field Guide).Definitely an upgrade of the manual. The book is good if you're a novice photographer just like me and wanting to master the functions of the Digital Rebel Xti/400D. Reading the book has helped me understand the elements of exposure,creative zone shooting,lens choice,photography basics,composition,ISO,light,depth of field,and techniques for great photos.The samples are also well set out and nicely illustrated,which I really love. If I get confused while adjusting the exposure I would just go back and scan that particular topic. Very easy to understand and definitely a must have!
Since I want to explore more in the world of digital photography I felt the need of buying another book or two. I've heard Scott Kelby's books are excellent and the reviews are pretty good. These might be my next purchase then.

Dream place to visit

One of my dream places to visit is definitely New Zealand. My bestfriend's family moved there 10 years ago and she said the place is really beautiful. No words can describe how much she loved the place and looking at the photographs she had sent me. It really makes me want to go there anytime soon. I really didn't travel much in the last five years. After gaving birth with my son I only travelled thrice and that was it. That's why this year hubby and I agreed to take some time off from work and travel to these places we've been wanting to visit. I am just thrilled thinking about this plan at the moment. If the time permits we're definitely heading that route.This must be really fun and knowing I would see my bestfriend is just really exciting. We've had a few short trip just around USA,which we also loved. But it sure is fun to see what other countries have. It's just a matter of time and budget for this trip. We could book our ticket anytime and I am sure there are cheap flights to New Zealand. It's also wise to be informed before visiting any foreign countries. I need to search if need be and regarding flights,hotels and travel ideas DialAflight is the best place to book our tickets. Keep it in mind and do the same in your next vacation.

Behind the camera

My little guy is certainly a budding photographer. He is so crazy about my camera. He took photos of me last night and everything came out great including my new avatar. My 5 year old boy took that photo using a canon 50mm lens. It's a pretty light lens,so he could handle it well. He takes great photos and I am just amazed of it. I sometimes need to hide my gear because he is going to mess it up. He can't just get enough of it. I am also working on my project 365 and hope I could take more photos in the next few days. Apparently, we have more activities coming this month.

Infinity Shoes

Isn't it time for shopping again? It was just last month that I purchased a pair of shoes and now it seems like I am on buying spree again. What else could a girl wants in a store like the Infinity Shoes. A friend of mine will be celebrating her 30th b-day this coming Sunday. I think she might like the tsubo shoes selection. This girl has it all and honestly I really don't know what to give her. If I were to pick I would definitely go with Afon and Sinas from Tsubo. Summer is just around the corner and these types of shoes are really ideal for outdoor activities. I am also drooling over the new arrivals most especially the Miz Mooz Chatham. The color is just perfect and the design is simply beautiful. I have a very small shoe size and this style would look good in my feet. Aside form sneakers I am more comfortable wearing slippers or flat sandals. The seychelles shoes has a wide variety when it comes to my needs and I might consider buying one in the future. I am just amazed of the products they're selling and believe me the "What's Hot" section is definitely worth checking. From simple,vintage,retro,classic,to fashionable styles they have it all. You gotta love the minnetonka boots. If you tend to be a casual dresser then these types of shoes are for you. So go ahead and shop!

Zoo:jam-packed

I think Josh and his friends can't really get enough of the zoo. Last Friday we went back there again. That's the advantage of having a season pass because anytime the kids want to go there. We could go back anytime without worrying another $50 dollars to be spent. Even us adults really enjoyed feeding the birds and so are the kids. Maybe next time we could peruse the barn and they might be interested to ride the pony or pet the farm animals.We are definitely not coming back on Fridays because it's normally jam-packed. It's nice to have a little room to stretch than nothing. Last Friday was just horrible but we managed to stay on an area where the kids didn't have a hard time seeing the animals. We certainly didn't finish seeing the rest but we have the whole year to enjoy. Here are a few photos I took!

Old Scrapbooking Layouts

I was just browsing my scrap album again and realized I haven't shared some of my layouts yet. I just can't find time to scrap lately so I would post these here. I also decided not to post in public galleries now I can't just keep up with it. To me it's more like of a task already and it's not fun anymore that way. Though I wanted to share it to my other friends online it's just too much to handle as of this moment. My priority right now is my little guy. The time I spend to him is really important and he needs me the most. That's certainly the life of a mom. It doesn't matter how much we give up just for the sake of our kids. So take a look!

Vegas Trip

Our family reunion is just around the corner and we are certainly excited about this event. Last year we all had a blast and I bet this year is going to be more fun. Hubby and I talked over this and we know the budget for this trip is quite high. Not to mention the fare,food,hotel expenses and many others. I know our relatives are going to be sad if we can't make it. Hubby is really trying his best,so we can make it this year again. Just wondering how much we're going to spend for hotels in las vegas. Crossing my fingers here we can make it. So we will see!

PSE Actions

I bet scrappers on all boards had spent a hefty amount for the NSD(National Scrapbooking Day) sales. I said to myself not to spent anything for kits this time. But rather spend it to new photo actions. Michelle Pearson has a 75% off on all her PSE,PS,PSP actions,so I had bought 8 actions from her store the other day. I obviously didn't scrap in the last month and I still got a lot of kits untouched in my stash. So that's one reason I don't want to splurge on digital kits. I have enjoyed this photography thing lately and might focus on this one as well. Scrapping will always be a part of me and creating pages could wait anytime. After playing the actions I bought the Urban Grunge Color Pop and the Processed Actions are my favorites.

Rebounders

I obviously gained weight in the past 6 months. Hubby bought a new mini-trampoline for me,so I could exercise. A lot said this is the best exercise equipment. I am very lazy to get on it sometimes,but I would try my best to use it as much as I can. My little guy really enjoyed his baby trampoline too and bouncing is really fun for him. There's never a day he won't use his. So I get motivated just by looking at him. Both Josh and Myke really enjoyed their bouncing session together. Might be interesting to know what others are doing to stay fit aside from constant exercising. Perhaps, Orovo detox is a good option too.

Specially For You

All moms deserve to get something this month. I am sure they will appreciate everything they will receive be it simple,expensive or less expensive. Try different things each year. Why not customize your gifts and be more creative. My mom is very appreciative whatever it is that I am going to give her. For 6 years I've been away from her and this year she really deserves something much better than the year before. This necklace is really cool and I think she might like it. I would also order flowers to go with it.No doubt I would definitely make someone happy!

Acne Relief

I have friends who have terrible acne problems. I guess I am very lucky that I don't have to deal with it. They've tried so many products and the results are quite upsetting. They have followed most acne treatments available. To me it's just so scary rubbing all those alcohol contained products to their faces. I would suggest they need to find products that have natural ingredients. There's this one product that is very popular and has been endorsed by many young celebrities. But my friends aren't really impressed by it so far. Others claimed it worked for them. So maybe you just have to keep looking for the products that suit you.

Rose Garden

We were finally able to visit the Rose Garden last Monday. Too bad we didn't go earlier last month. Some of the petals weathered already due to the heat and of course how much they're exposed to the sun. But the garden looked so wonderful and I noticed there are a lot of people in there mostly young couples. What else you can ask for it's a Rose garden. I bet some of them are planning for their wedding venue and that garden is really perfect. The place is certainly romantic!

Printing Needs

I have a 2 year old printer that is so not appealing right now. I want to print something but I am not very successful at the moment. I am just tired trying to figure out what is going on here. I can use my fax but when I switch it to printing or scanning it won't work. Too bad hubby can't even print something. He does an extra billing work at home at least twice a month and occassionally print tons of extra copies. He does use date and signature stamps on this kind of paper work too. It doesn't only speed up his work but it also looks neater compare to his handwriting. He enjoyed ordering rubber stamps at Vistaprint recently and might keep it that way. Even when we need stuff like Business Cards,Family Sticky Notes,Invitation Cards,Envelopes,Thank You Cards. We are pretty comfortable ordering it online and no doubt they offer the best printing services in the planet.The good news is they're expanding and even website hosting is also available. There's still more to it and no doubt you can rely to them when it comes to your printing needs and in setting up your businesses online. Go for it!
