I'm crazily downloading free textures lately. It's fun to try new things and apply it to digital photography. There is still so much to learn and I bet I will get it in no time. These were the first set of photos I had added textures with and what difference does it make? Check out the photos below! Overall I love how textures added drama to each photos and I definitely had more fun playing with it. I would certainly do it again and hope I could master how to blend and get stellar results next time!
On the other hand, my friend and I were discussing how much does it cost to travel late spring time. Looking at the estimated airfares if we will have to leave by May this year; we realized it's very expensive. Oh my, talk about peak travel season! It wasn't surprising to see how high the travel taxes either and how much more for business insurance. Whatever her plans maybe in case she will change her mind and decide not to have a vacation anymore; I still want my plan to be pursued!

The cover of the Twilight book is really enticing and I am contemplating if I will buy the whole series. I know some of you have already read the book and talked about how awesome the storyline is. It makes me want to buy it right now. The last couple books I had read were Pride and Prejudice and Oliver Twist and that was a long time ago. I had enjoyed it so much which even led me to watch the P&P movie. It would be great if I could invest time reading a new book. Oh yeah, I will definitely work on that!
My photo a day set is also updated. New photos every day, so check it out!

I have taken quite a lot of photos and really enjoying my photo a day project lately with my online friends of course. Taking pictures is definitely part of my everyday routine now. It's just an awesome way to document family events and share it with them. I noticed few people joined us in the last couple of days too. I am so caught up with other tasks that needed to be prioritized first and again left my blog with no updates. There had been lot of changes going on here at home. It seems like the past few months blogging have become a task already. I needed to adjust something especially now that we have things we want to renovate and focus on this first. I certainly can't blog everyday for awhile, but would love to update once/twice a week. Plus, I can't seem to finalize what style of day bed I want right now. It's taking me forever to decide which is best. There are tons to choose from and I really want a good buy perhaps discount furniture. I am still looking for quality products!
Have you watched your favorite shows this season? I am thrilled that my favorite shows are back like; the American Idol and The Bachelor. I don't watch every reality shows out there imaginable, but these two I could handle. So far so good!
We were cleaning up a bit and trying to consume holiday leftovers. You can't just have a hot chocolate without the perfect cookies to go with it! I am not into diet pills so I would definitely be worried of my weight if I will continue with my cravings!

There have not been a lot of tasks to do online, so I took advantage of my free time and spent it wisely. I am aware it's been 7 days since my last update, but I don't have the intention to abandon this blog. I recently pursued this one particular project which is the "Project 365". I always love the concept of this project and I hope this year I will be able to accomplish this challenge. I wish I have started sooner, so instead of having 14 entries I only have nine so far. But I am very positive I will be able to complete my album set and I would be thrilled to post one photo a day. That simple! You can view my complete set HERE. I guess I have a lot of catching up to do!

I am absolutely burned out after the holiday; Too many activities here and there. But it seems like everything is back to normal now. I think the cleaning part was the definitely a huge task after the holiday. Josh officially went back to school today. He certainly had a wonderful two week winter break. He is just so excited to meet his teacher and friends again. While Josh was away I went to the mall quick and bought stuff. I have gotten few gift cards last Christmas so I decided to splurge it today. I was drawn to accessories and girly stuff again. Shopping this time was definitely much quicker and a three hour mommy break I can't ask for more.
Moving on, as you can remember I did a review of the Gold Medal Wine Club few months back. I am still very positive that their wine selection has the best quality. I would highly recommend this as a gift for friends and relatives. I am not surprised that their product was picked as wine of the month.

I have not told my family yet that I will be going home this summer. But I am already saving for this trip. My little guy was only seven months old when we first flew to Pinas. They might have a hint that I will be going home, but they aren't sure when. They are just waiting for this plan to be confirmed and I know they are super excited to see us again. Joshua is all grown up and I think this year would be perfect to plan another trip. That's the disadvantage of being away from my family because Joshua's grandparents can't see him often and they're really missing out a lot. Aside from our weekend chat and phone calls I think it's still not enough for them to know my little guy better. But I am still thankful what webcam does and we can still hear each other's voices even though they are 10,000 miles away. I sure miss them last Christmas, but I am glad I was also able to send packages to each one of them. The last time I visit Josh and I had stayed for two months and days just flew very quickly; and realized it was time to leave my family again.
I am certainly wishing for a fruitful new year and hope more fun trips for my family. We opted for another day in the park yesterday since Joshua wanted to go. No problem it is just a five minute drive away from home. Josh is sporting his kick scooter again, which he really loves.
Moving along, I found these Nooka watches online. Looks like really cool watches for men. This would be perfect for my younger brother. They love everything I sent last Christmas and few items were absolutely fashionable.

How is everyone doing? I bet you are just thrilled to welcome the year 2009 and so do we. Sorry for the long absence but I will catch up soon. I tried to attend to my little guy this week since he will be back to school on Monday, so that means I will be all alone again during the day. We decided to have another outdoor fun on New Year's Day because the weather was wonderful. We packed some treats and the day started and ended perfectly. I would say I definitely gained few pounds because of the never ending sweet treats, but it's good to eat them once in awhile. We certainly had a great time and looking forward to traveling this year. I expected to visit my family and I can't wait. I just want to wish you all good health and a prosperous new year. Life is great!

I think I have gotten lots of great deals during the holiday. I have yet to redeem gymbucks coupons from Gymboree for my little guy. This would allow me to save up to 50% off of my redemption purchase. I love love that store. It seems like more shopping to be done in the next few weeks. I just want to grab a few more clothes before our winter trip. I planned on going to the mall by Monday because the mall would be a lot calmer. I just don't like the chaos of holiday shopping. It's too much to bear and I am not very patient driving around to find a parking spot. One thing I saw online that really caught my eye is the Escante corsets. I certainly love the lavender one with sequins on it. It is simply gorgeous!
