Mike and I just got back from Joshua's school. We were invited to witness the Kindergarten Awards Day. My little guy was so happy to see us there. I laughed when he got the Computer Achievement Certificate because I didn't expect it. He is such a pro already and he enjoys browsing the web as well just like mom and dad. I think he started browsing when he was two years old. I taught him once how to hold the mouse and the following day he's just loving it. His teacher is just so amazed how much he has improved academically and socially and he got an award for that as well. Oh yeah, he did it and CONGRATULATIONS to my little guy for the successful completion of Kindergarten @ Nathan Adams! No photos yet for this event. I am still working on it!

My sister just moved in to her new place and she's very excited about this decision. She already started buying stuff needed for her house and she found this furniture store that have everything on sale right now. She spent quite a bit for this store. She has gotten enough and mainly important stuff and decided to buy the rest next time. Another thing she was thrilled about is their cheap kitchen sinks. Other areas of the house need to be renovated as well, so she's definitely looking forward to purchasing one of those. I am glad she has finally her own place!
Four more days Joshua's school will be over. Unfortunately, he can't attend next week's K-party because we will be leaving on June 2nd to pinas. Josh and I are both excited and of course my family too. I still got to email a few close friends to let them know I am traveling this summer. I think I've gotten all the stuff I needed already, so I guess I can relax in the next few days. Mike and I are also celebrating our 8th wedding anniversary. We had decided to visit Clark Gardens yesterday. This was an unknown garden to me, but I have no regrets visiting there since it's truly beautiful. I would love to go back there in Fall. I got tons of photos to share, but it's going to take me forever if I have to post everything. I have a P-album that only friends and family can view, but I will share a few, so you could see as well. Summer is just around the corner and I would truly miss the spring weather and all the flowers. Take a look! These photos in the bottom were taken during Mother's Day. I wasn't able to blog because I was too busy with other things. It's a joy to continue blogging and share my photos. I will be idle again in the next month due to my summer vacation, but I will try to post once my laptop is all set. Clark Gardens photos will be posted next! 
I am always looking forward to buying a new phone each year. I will be traveling to another country this summer and I really want to have a phone with me. It's much easier that way to have one handy in case I need to phone Mike. I really like the idea of unlocked phone. I have heard about this before, but I just don't know how it works and now I already have an idea about phones like this. The ease to be able to use it worldwide with any phone carriers/providers is definitely awesome. I am absolutely considering this route!
My little guy is already 6 years old and once he starts first grade our family outing might be limited. But we would love to visit Florida/California when we get a chance or during holidays this year. It's expensive to travel and no doubt life insurance rates go up as well. But at least before school starts we could have a great summer vacation. We've planned this already since last year, so yeah we're definitely going.
This season we will try to visit all the gardens we always enjoyed visiting since last year. I am glad we have friends who were able to join us on a few of those outdoor trips we had. Sunday is the only day where we have the whole day to hang out with my family and that's always special to us! A quick drive and hunt for a scenic view isn't hard to do at all. That's what we always prefer since we love taking photos and we can always find a great spot to photograph.

Our spring season won't be complete had we decided not to go to the Bluebonnets Festival. This is just a family tradition to many Texans and a popular spring pastime. Spring is definitely my favorite season!
Here's a little update of my little guy's school activities this month. Last Tuesday they went to The Majestic Theater for their fieldtrip. Next two weeks will be their testing week (ITBS), and then a multi-cultural night will follow towards the end of the 3rd week and a zoo trip on the 22nd. On the 27th will be the Kindergarten Awards Night. They will be having lunch picnic on June 2nd and on June 3rd will be the last day. We are scheduled to leave on June 8th for our two month vacation. I am looking forward to the end of the school year, so we could finally enjoy our summer trip! 
I have been hooked following the DWTS and AI idol this season. It has been entertaining so far even though it's hard to see someone left each week, but that's the nature of these shows. On May 27th I think the SYTYCD will premiere and that's definitely a must see. I have enjoyed the dance shows on ABC and my entire family really enjoyed watching as well. I can't wait for the finale! The beauty of reality TV!

Talking about appetite, Joshua's appetite has been really good lately and I am just so proud of my little guy. He is so picky when it comes to green vegetables and I could only name a few that he really likes to eat, but he is improving. I am positive he has a healthy diet as of this time.
Mike on the other hand definitely needs appetite suppressant. He really needs to be consistent on exercising as well!
I have been browsing Etsy for rings and bracelets. I might be spending a few dollars on some of this handmade jewelry. I used to make some before, but I am just lazy to update my stash with new materials. There is a lot to choose from and I am just going to decide which one. I have seen interesting pieces which might end up in my accessory box!
Moving along, I don't think there is scarcity when it comes to cattle supplies. I noticed a huge sale going on and if you plan on hitting any bargain center you might as well check Jeffers Livestock.
I mentioned we will be visiting pinas first week of June. Ah, I am a little stressed out this week. I just want to make sure I have everything ready before the end of May. I still got a lot of shopping to be done. Sort individual stuff we need to have and of course ironing and packing should be the last. The moment we decided we're going to have this trip I have been thinking of it ever since. I am glad the balikbayan box had been shipped already. I will be bringing a laptop and of course my DSLR. I went to TSA's website to find out the important details in handling this kind of stuff; now I know what to do. I hope things will go smoothly in the next few days.
Least, I forget I should read this Colonix review I found earlier. Mike's mom died of colon cancer and this is something he would be interested to read as well!
I am not surprised why young celebrities are scrutinized by the public when it comes to their weight issues. They are like under a microscope 24/7 and people have always something to say and critique about them. I don't think they have a choice, but to maintain a body weight that's acceptable in Hollywood. I can't imagine the pressure most celebrities have to go through, but weight loss pills are definitely on their list. Aside from constant exercising they have got to have other ways to maintain their built and stay fit most of the time.
