Josh is kind of tired of his toy laptop and he really wants a real laptop now. We thought of getting him a Sony Vaio netbook this coming Christmas. He keeps saying he wants the real one, so we will see because that's just one of the items on his Christmas list. Ah, It's really hot this summer here, so I don't go out that much. We only try on weekends, but I pretty much choose to stay inside if possible. But I love taking pictures of my little guy. This photo was taken earlier while he was on the bed playing.

They have this spray zone @ the Addison Circle Park and we took Joshua there on Saturday. This is one of Joshua's favorite places to go during summer. It was just too hot and since we don't have any plans of going to a waterpark yet, so this would do for now. He loves it there anyway. I have edited a few photos here!

I didn't expect to see a long time friend yesterday. It's been 5 years already and had not had the chance to talk to Anne. I was so glad she came by at my place yesterday, so I asked a favor if I could take her out to eat. She had her 8 year old son with her, who is 2 years older than Joshua. Josh was delighted to know another friend of mine. She just recently got her driver's license and I am just happy for her that she finally overcome her fear of driving; and that she could be able to do things on her own now and free to go places. We talked about so many things and one of those is an auto insurance quote. She knows how important it is to have an insurance and I bet she got a great deal. I wish there will be another meeting anytime soon. She knows how much I want to visit Thailand and she's actually planning to visit her hometown in the next two years, so that would be something we got to plan. Overall, it was such a great reunion!

Mike's work schedule hasn't really changed and the only day he can come with us is on Sunday afternoon. He has got to sleep too and I don't really want to bother him on some days since he is such a busy person. But I know he would want to hang out with us as long as he gets his free time. We tend to eat out on Sundays too and so we decided to go to Lewisville Lake afterwards. I didn't intend to let my boy swim since Josh has some allergy he has to deal with. He had to skip that part and focused playing in the kids playground. I also took that opportunity to take pictures while dad and my little guy were playing. It wasn't surprizing to see that many people there since it's Sunday and that's always a family day. I enjoyed looking at the people jet skiing. It was just a quick visit in the lake to unwind and trying to ignore the Texas heat. That's one thing you can't avoid when you live in Texas; you got to endure the scorching hot weather. But we could always come up with something to entertain us during summer.

Oh last weekend had been great. I've gotten a lot of rest these past few days. I've been also communicating with my family everyday since we got magic jack at home. It's much better now since I don't have to spend way too much for calling cards.
One thing I had enjoyed visiting my hometown is really the food. Aside from my mom's cooking I also enjoyed eating out. Good thing it's summer because I was able to indulge myself with my most favorite dessert and this barbecue meal. There's this restaurant that we love and I tried to go there a few times in a week just to satisfy my cravings. Ah, how I miss everyone already!

Ah, I miss the countless pool and beach times when I visited pinas. Good thing there are tons nearby and we don't have to drive too far away. My family enjoyed it a lot and this setting below is what I am talking about. The outdoorsy feel is what I love the most since I love adventure, so it's nice to see something fresh and different from the city. I love the interesting ride heading to one of this tourist spots. Summer is never perfect without a dip in the pool. On top of that the modern and classy outdoor furniture would be perfect. It was indeed a great summer vacation!

When we left for our vacation Joshua was supposed to visit his dentist before going to pinas, but it was too late and I can't get an early appointment. So my little guy has got to visit one in the next few days. I am glad it's not a long drive over there, so we don't really have to fight traffic crazily. We were with a Plano Dentist for awhile and my little guy is pretty comfortable with the environment. His last check up was quite scary for him, but I hope this time will be a breeze since it's only teeth cleaning. He can put aside the crankiness this time around!

My face is so dry right now and I am pretty sure it's because of the new toner that I am using lately. I am going to switch brands again. It's been a hassle, but I am determined to find one that suits me. Good thing I don't have to worry about wrinkles, not just yet. When that time comes I bet I will be buying wrinkle creams like there's no tomorrow.
I am into face moisturizer a lot because my face is just super dry. I hate waking up with a face like this. Ah, too much beauty routine!

Mike had another car accident last month and it was just so unfortunate. With our economy right now I don't think he want to mess with any of the auto repair expenses right now. But since he needed his van so much for work, so was forced to set aside $2,500 for the repair. It also happened same time when we planned our vacation, so the budget was really kind of tight. When you talk about vacation you just never know how much you would spend; so you needed to have extra cash as much as possible. Thank God the vacation went well and the van is at home now. What really matters most at this time is a great car insurance and when accidents happen it could really help out a lot. I hope that would be it for awhile. We got lots of other stuff we want to do and I hope we could save something for that as well. A Disney trip would really be perfect!
More vacation photos!

I have pretty much uploaded all the photos during my vacation, so I would be able to share it now. I will try to upload 2-3 photos in each post depending on how many tasks I need to accomplish this week. The last place we went to with my family was at Duka Bay. Each night I am always chatting with my sister and told her how fun our vacation was. I would love to go there again next year. My little one seem to like it a whole lot. Joshua is more comfortable talking with my family now and he just gets excited everytime he speaks with them on the phone. He gets along with my younger brother so well and it made me very happy that overall he made a connection with uncle. My brother is a bit of a joker and he puts a smile to Joshua's face everytime he opens his mouth and throw some jokes. Infact, they requested if we could buy a ping pong table and set it outside the house. My family loves to play ping pong and I remember in HS this was our favorite game during recess. The would definitely be our next project!

Ah, I am finally down to my last two albums to be edited. Then, I could finally rest and focus on doing other things. We still got to fix our sleeping habit right now because it's a little screwed up. Josh and I are still used to pinas time and it's hard to sleep during at night, so we're up to something each night and that make us really tired for not getting enough sleep as of this time.
Moving along, I can't believe we're in need of new faucets again. The old one broke and I am definitely in need of something durable. I am in the look out for something trendy and would last long. Gotta find that treasure and more photos on the way!

We were supposed to take videos of the fireworks last night, but forgot our camcorders. Good thing I had my camera with me. We were a little late, so we didn't get to see the whole fireworks show. I knew Josh would be scared again, so dad and he went back to the car and I proceeded to find a spot nearby. It was just a 20 minute show and captured a few before it ended. Ah, it's been three days since we arrived in Dallas. I still feel tired, but tried to upload more photos as I can. I am still keeping up! I am happy with what I have accomplished so far. Internet connection is fine, so it's much quicker when I upload it in bulk. That makes my job a lot easier and I am half way done. I was also able to take few photos from last night's event (July 4th). I was surprized of the fireworks bokeh I took. It came out really nice! The show didn't take long, so we made it home before 10pm. Good thing we weren't stuck somewhere co'z my little guy was cranky and all he needed was a little rest.
I laughed when he told dad he wants Mp3 players. No doubt he loves music a lot, but we will see if Santa would be nice enough to wrap that present in Christmas time!
On the other hand, I wasn't able to blog on my birthday and I celebrated it with my family in pinas. Just to remember the event here's my 29th birthday cake!

It's sad to leave my family again, but I know they enjoyed our time together. As usual we can still chat and talk on the phone as we used to. They have been waiting for the photos to be posted on my album. I told them I have edited a few and that they can start downloading the photos they like. This is going to be a lot of work, but I am excited to share this and so I tried to stay up late. It's nice to be back in Dallas and spend the holiday with Mike. It's been a month and we miss dad so much. With my family back home I know they're delighted we made it back to Texas without hindrances. It's nice to be back there in the next two years and plan for a small business. I just checked the residential/business lots and found some with reasonable prices. When the economy gets better everyone is happy even the Wilmington NC real estate.
Oh well as what I mentioned earlier I will be posting more photos this weekend. For now these three photos would do. Have a great Holiday weekend!

OMG, how many delayed flights do we need to have. The flight from pinas to Tokyo was OK, but when we got there my next flight to San Francisco was delayed and had to wait more long hours. It made me and my little guy really exhausted, but it's all worth the wait when we finally saw daddy waiting at the baggage claim area @ DFW. We arrived @ 9:45 pm tonight and guess what I'm doing right now. I'm blogging and uploading my photos at the same time. I Still got to edit most of them because these are huge photos. Hopefully in the next few days I could start posting some of the photos. Josh and I really had a great time in pinas that I don't want to change one moment spent in there. What a great way to spend part of the summer. I probably have close to 2,500 photos hehe...So this is really going to be a lot of work to upload everything. Tomorrow aside from doing some laundry I might do a little shopping and research about Nespresso. Mike just bought a new cooler/humidifier that I want to add Nepresso on the list. My place is so messy right now that tomorrow I want to start organizing my stuff. I hope I could visit you soon!
