We’re having a family reunion this Saturday, so my husband and I went to the grocery store earlier today to pick up a few things to prepare. He usually isn’t much one for shopping, but I could tell that he really wanted to get things right for our family this time.

While going through the aisles, my husband kept mentioning that he was having a hard time hearing me when I asked him to grab a ham for the meal. I thought he was just giving me a hard time—until he told me he’d been contemplating getting a hearing aid, and was planning on going to Miracle Ear to get his hearing tested the next day before everyone arrived this weekend.

I told him I fully supported his decision and, after picking up our groceries, we went back to the house to search for hearing aids reviewstogether online.

After looking around, we learned about the many options he had—from digital hearing aids to over-the-ear aids—and he was able to go into his appointment well informed. Now, I can tell he’s looking forward to our gathering maybe more than I am—so he can show off his new gadget!

My papa is at Saint Luke's right now completing his medical exam. My sister is also online trying to inform me. They're texting back and forth because my dad was a little nervous. She tried to calm him down and told him to just follow the intructions. At 10:38am their time; My dad just got done the physical check up. He is down to immunization interview now. Good luck to the visa interview on October 7th. Way to go pa! Anyway, we had a short outdoor fun last weekend. We always do this kind of stuff, having a cooler weather now is really a plus. Summer was really hot and we didn't enjoy going out. I can't wait to take advantage of the Fall season. More activities to come and that means more photos to share. It's just the way I want it.

My favorite show currently is one we can only get on the satellite tv we got at http://www.direct.tv. It's called ICarly and I think it's hilarious. The show centers around teenager Carly and her two best friends, Sam & Freddy. The three run an Internet television show that they produce together. Additionally, there are story lines that center around Sam and her mother, that we never see and Carly and her brother Spencer, who is her guardian. The show works, like so many before it, based on the great supporting cast. There's Gibby the nerd friend, Spencer the artist and his revolving line of dates.

The show takes place in Seattle, but that's not a very big part of the show. Mostly, the action of the show takes place in the studio where the web show is produced, Carly's apartment or the high school where everyone goes to. The story lines are far-fetched, for certain. I don't know many high school kids who get that much flexibility at school and home or have constant transportation to the various places they go. But, it's good-natured fun and I always turn the show off laughing and wishing it wasn't over just yet. It's the kind of show where you wish you had friends like the ones you see on television.

Charice did it again. She's a guest on season 2. Wow, after she sang "Listen" Goosebumps... goosebumps; That's all I can say. I always feel that everytime she performs. I know she made a lot of us smile. It's a joy to see her grow and excel on her craft. Dream come true indeed. I can't wait for next week. She has come a long way!

I have to admit it, sometimes I get obsessed about a destination just from watching a movie. After we switched to tv from www.bestchoicetv.com we had so many movie channels to choose from that I did not know where to start. I used my DVR to record my favorites so I could watch them over and over again.

Under the Tuscan Sun and Only You are two of my favorite movies. I watched them early last year on my Satellite TV and recorded them right away. I knew these were two movies that I could watch again. I love movies that really show you the people and scenery of a destination. My heart was set on going to Italy and renting a villa. I knew I could never sell everything and buy one like the character did in the movie, but this was close enough.

I called my travel agent, Maggie, and she went to work researching and comparing villas in Tuscany for me. I did not have a lot of money to spend and she was able to find me a great deal. I talked two of my friends into joining me on my adventure in Italy and we ended up splitting the costs. We took hundreds, no, thousands of pictures and made friends all along our journey. I spent a lot of money, but it was well worth it.

We spent the last two days in Rome beofre our flight back to New York. I am so glad we did this! We saw the Trevi Fountain, the Colleseum, and the Vatican. I am in love with the italian people and cannot wait to return!

I'm sooo tired tonight after I got home from school. We read three chapters and I don't know why I was yawning the whole time. I had an hour nap before I left school, but I guess that wasn't enough. We have another quiz tonight and I passed. I was surprised three of my classmates are going to retake the test tomorrow. Anyway, I'm still dealing with an acute hives. It's been six weeks. It's really tiring when it gets this long. I hate seeing the red bumps anywhere my body. I have enough of it and I'm tired of taking medicine. Ah, what else do I need; natural colon cleansing or whatever. I want it go away before clinicals. I'm glad I don't feel any tingling anymore. Only the red patchy spots are showing, but it still makes me annoyed when they itch like crazy. I'm off to bed!

Each year the pumpkin festival gets bigger and better and this year is no exception! Don’t miss the Storybook Pumpkin Village, the only pumpkin village in the world, with four walk-through houses made completely out of pumpkins. Each house will represent a children’s book that features pumpkins in the story. The houses will be surrounded by thousands of pumpkins and decorative gourds as well as The Tom Thumb Pumpkin Patch where guests can pick out and purchase pumpkins for their family decorations.

I'm just catching up with my online friends status updates. It's nice to reconnect with them that way. It's like the easiest tool to know their whereabouts and the quickest way to say Hi just by typing it on their wall. When they have enough time they can reply ASAP. Whatever questions you may have. We can talk anything from motherhood, shopping, kids, school stuff to car insurance. Yeah, sounds interesting huh! I do get excited when real life friends that I haven't seen for many years interact with me. That's how social networking works. Although, I don't enjoy the sharing your personal info too much, but at least there's a way to make it private; Others just couldn't care less! Overall my whole experience dealing with online stuff has been wonderful.

Anyway, have you heard of animal pak? I just went ahead and did a quick search and it's actually a BB supplement. If you're interested you can go look it up. Last night, I was chatting with my family. My nephew is the cutest thing ever hehe... He likes to hold the microphone and loves to talk. After two months of being deprived using the internet. My family finally got their PC running again. They've changed electrical supplies and now it works like a charm; Though they wanted a new monitor, but that would be their next project. My son is at school now, so that means I have an ample time to finish my online task and study afterwards. I have another quiz today and have four chapters to cover before focusing on the skills next week. M is at work now too. He was very early and so was my son. I'm all alone trying to start my day as productive as it can be. Weekend was great though.

Oh how I miss the green mangoes hehe... I was just browsing my vacation photos and noticed one that stood out. I wish I will be able to visit my country again. It's only been a year since my last visit, but I've already missed the food so much. I've heard my younger sister is planning to get married next year and if my mom's visa is ready by then; I will be able to attend her wedding and mom will come with us going back to Tx. I hope this plan works out.

I'm kind of pissed off with Manila Forwarder right now. They're not being truthful with the status of my package. The first time I called they told me the box is in the warehouse already and that was August 25th. After countless calls they said it's going to be shipped out last week. We've been expecting the estimated arrival was last weekend, but nothing was delivered. It's been more than two months already. I decided to give them another call today but somehow no one is in the office yet. I don't think I could wait until 10pm since my boy is going to be early tomorrow. I will try calling again in the morning. I will catch some sleep as soon as I'm done checking skin care product reviews. I don't understand why it's taking so long. It's just so annoying when their only reply is we don't know the ETA. Seriously, they've lied that they shipped it last week going to Mindanao since the agent in Butuan said ours wasn't included among those packages arrived last week. Whatever... I'll deal with it one way or another.

Yay, for the upcoming Fall events. My camera hasn't been used for many weeks now and I want to start taking pictures again. The weather hasn't really been good lately. It's too frustrating when it's too hot and kids even adults can't really handle more than 100 degress F outside and I can't compromise someone getting sick because of it. Plus the recent rainy week, yeah it sucks. Oh, didn't I mention the Pollen count? My city is the worst since last week. I'm definitely seeing signs of allergies floating nearby. We don't have a choice but to do indoor activities plus it's so much cheaper to just stay home. The thought of buying new modern couches is a really great idea. Shopping online is one thing to consider especially to those mommies who are bored. I do enjoy browsing things online even though I prefer seeing them up close, but I do get tempted to shop sometimes. Whatever is convenient; It could be time or budget wise.

I know what you're thinking he-he... I have just a slight addiction to the show. I just happened to stumble upon their show and got hooked. I sometimes forget to watch though because I got a ton on my list to follow and I can't watch them all at once. But I'm also following a few reality shows on E! and of course Bravo, so I can't keep track. But good thing I can watch it online if I missed an episode. The ladies definitely are stylish on their on way, but a couple of them are just over the top. Only if they could tone down the makeup and they would still look good than what they anticipated. What's up with the thick bronzer and all that racoon eye makeup craziness. The guy (who is the only thorn among the roses)... no doubt he could make a Swisher Sweets cigar model hehe... He looks like one of those guys in the Lady Gaga video, Poker Face? Hmmm... Yeah, I'm lame. I can't think of a better person. Have you watched the show?

Again, the spirit of the holiday is just close at hand. The red led christmas lights definitely reminds us of the special holiday we all love. Lately, since I'm so busy with a lot of things I haven't even thought of it but noticed something today that reminded me that Christmas is in less than 3 months. That's not very long anymore. One of these days I will be putting my tree up again. I'm always getting new ornaments each year, so the thought of buying these stuff makes me excited already. But since I will be working soon I'm afraid Christmas won't be the same. The kind of field I'm getting into; I know that I will be working 3rd shift and that must be hard to say no when we're required to work on Holidays. I hope things will work out though and that I don't intend to abandon celebrating it. I will always find time to celebrate it with my family. It's the memory that counts after all.

My family is still waiting for the package to arrive. They're just so excited of the
Asus laptop I sent. Their old computer finally gave up on them, so they need a new one to play with. Gosh, it's been a long wait, but hopefully it will arrive this coming Saturday. I can't wait to see them back online again. Good thing my sister got here Nokia C3 to use for chatting and she could still leave messages for me whenever. I hope everything is intact and in good shape when they get it. My sister is also excited since I packed a whole lot of clothes for her son and I know they will all like it; And of course the chocolates who would even forget that. That would definitely make the kids happy. I guess everyone's eyes are already popping out waiting for that knock and that confirmation that it has safely arrived. I wish!

I'm really enjoying my NA book. It's been two weeks since the first day of school started. I just love all the new vocabularies (medical terms) I'm learning. Gosh, it's a challenge trying to remember them all, but I'm so glad I did this CE thing as I'll be finding health care jobs soon. For the next two weeks we will be focusing on mastering our skills ready for clinicals which will happen in October. I'm a little freaked out since I don't know anything about it yet; though I have a little idea of the first five steps we're suppose to do, but the actual skill itself is killing me. I got to learn performing each procedure correctly or else I'll be in trouble. Ah, speaking of stress. I can't stop thinking about papa's thing. His interview is coming up and I'm just so stressed out. Anyway, my boy is in school now, so I will continue my day finishing a few chores here online and offline.

"Hi, I really like what you write in your profile. I would love to talk to you on Sunday". The curious me replied to the mystery man and gave my number. Then, Sunday came at around 9am. I got a call and indeed it was M. I can hear the excitement on his voice and my heart was also pounding. We talked for an hour I believed. At 20 what do I really know about relationships and love. When I was in college, I don't let those guys fool me and I know every decision I made was just right. M was so persuasive and he emailed me every single day; Since I have no problem of an interracial marriages, so I just waited for the right time and realized one day that this was the guy I'm going to marry. Our friendship became stronger and we both fell in love. He proposed 9 years ago and got married the same year. Today we are blessed with a wonderful son named JB and he is already 7 yo. We would love to have another child and I know one day God will grant us another one.

The truth is I don't think we have enough time to redecorate my place before the end of October. I have thought of telling the manager to repaint our walls, but got so much clutter here at home that needs attention as well. There's one bedroom that needs to be cleaned, so a normal person will feel comfortable staying in there. Here comes bathroom fans that need to be replaced; Not to mention lighting fixtures as well. It's going to be a challenge finishing this all, but I will try my best to convince M to better start throwing stuff out, so we can have an extra space for the good things we want to keep. Bringing new furniture in is really wonderful, but the chaos of moving stuff around. We will see, but I'm excited for these little changes soon!

It's inevitable to talk about cheap auto insurance rate especially that pap's arrival is near. Once he gets his car he will eventually get a car insurance too. We know how that works and how important it is here in our state. I'm even considering buying a new car. When I get a job soon I would definitely pursue that. I feel like M owns my white car now. He uses it at work often and it just doesn't reflect to its real owner anymore. I hate how it's all dirty now and I'm really into making the interior neat and tidy, but guys seem to have a different strategy when it comes to organizing and what not; And he's nowhere close to agreeing he will keep it clean, so I'm handing it back to him hehe... and I'm getting a new one; sounds better huh!

What's exactly a green study? Boredom at its best... Well not really! I am starting to review my PTC book and it's so interesting to read. I just realized how much I love studying before. Ah, I'm learning new vocabulary words and I have a hunger for it. I would want to finish reading all chapters, but I got other things on the way too. Plus I'm having an allergic reaction to something and the itch is so bothersome. But the book itself is definitely a keeper and I'm learning new things which I'm super stoked. I can't wait to finalize everything. My dad will join us soon and the thought of having him around makes my boy really happy. Mom will be next and I'm going to do the same petition process again. It's a little tricky, but I love doing it for them. We're getting close!

It's been two weeks already since my Jb went back to school. Nothing really change from his normal morning routine. He gets up on his own and gets ready like a big boy he is. I don't have trouble waking him up and getting him ready since he knows exactly what his responsibilities are; And that's doing his homework, complete his reading log and getting to school on time. Things work out perfectly and even though he was so skeptical riding the bus this year, but later realized it's the best route. Especially now that mom will soon be going back to school also. It's a short Continuing Education class, but I know I'm on to something life changing. Who knows I might consider taking some Online classes. I have no idea what my schedule is going to be like. That might be manageable!

Watch out for those envious eyes because they're right there watching your every move. A distant relative loves to gossip and for some reason she and my mom won't get along. Mom has a lot of friends but she has a barrier to this particular person and to those jealous people. This relative loves to make up stories just to make herself feel better and by spewing hate towards my mom; It makes her high and thinks she's so above us. Letting our neighbors believe things which aren't true and gossiping becomes her hobby. We are just human and we do get hurt and my mom expressed her thoughts about this whole situation. But we all agreed that the best thing to do is to not pay attention to the lady and not fuel the heat between them. Let her gossip until her tounge gets rotten. One day my mom will prevail. The lady is so materialistic, that my mom's simple house renovation makes her eyes popped, explode and again jealous. Every little thing and progress my family gets makes her so upset. All she does is put a dirt to my mom's reputation. Would there be an end to this? I doubt it. Our houses are stones throw away and so she could spy all she want. What a sad pattern to live her life. If she's envious all her life then it means she's never been happy.
