Camera Strap

I was just browsing Etsy (PhatStraps) not long ago and found this camera accessory kit. I've wanted to change my original strap because the old one I have is giving me an irritation to the back of my neck. I want something soft especially my lenses are a bit heavier to carry around. I also like the idea of having a camera wrist wrap. This kit I found is just perfect. I had seen a few ones that I also love and the fabric used is definitely stylish. I really love the design of this set too. I will wait later this week to decide what to get.

Recent Finds

Joshua and I just got home from his swimming class. His instructor told me he has really improved a lot. Oh I am just so proud of my little guy. He is having so much fun out there and I can't just ask for another class he going to be in this summer. I think swimming class is just perfect for him. We hurried back home because we still got a lot of things to do today.
Guess where I am at when we got home of course on my PC. My sister left a message earlier and since I wasn't around, so I missed it. I would love to catch her later then. I went ahead and browse a few stores online and found some cute stuff like this gold anklet. I promised to send gifts to my family this year and I bet they wouldn't mind if I will include some of these in the package.

Take a peek

For years I had been trained to create handmade custom jewelry and I would say that I had enjoyed that experience so much. Never did it occur to me that I will be designing stuff and the jewelry that I had created will be sold to an expensive store. I was so happy that the designers I worked with enjoyed whatever I came up with. Sadly, I had to leave because I was going to school by that time and I had to prioritize my school more than work. I sure miss the people I had worked with and I am very thankful I was able to have that experience. Maybe one day I can play with my stuff again and can show you some of my designs. My passion has shifted to digital photography now and I would want to invest my time on this. But believe me I am such a huge fan of unique and eclectic jewelry pieces just like these stuff I stumbled upon earlier and it's called the Celtic jewelry. These totally caught my eye awhile ago, so take a peek!

Sweaty Day

I tried to take Josh to the park yesterday, but even at around 6pm. it was still hot outside. Oh yeah nothing new about the dreaded heat in Texas and it gets insanely up to 103 degrees sometimes. Yesterday it was high of 93 degrees and my little guy and I were all sweaty. But he was unstoppable and still wanting to play, so I let him play. We were quite busy yesterday because he had his swimming class in the morning, then run some errands, went to the mall and then later that day we went to the park. It was just about time for daddy to come home and we were probably 20 minutes earlier and he didn't realize we were out all day. He knows I don't go out that much, so he was surprised we were gone that long. After my little guy settled for the night I was browsing a bit and stumbled upon an equestrian clothing store, which has wonderful selections of horse clothing, horse/rider equipment, rider riding apparel and sportswear.

Maybe a new PC

After what happened to my computer last 2 weeks ago; hubby's friend suggested maybe next time we will try one of the computers he built. I just want a great PC right now and yeap it was scary when it got corrupted. I am so glad Bill was able to retrieve my files, especially the ones that weren't backed up. He was such a great help. I definitely don't have that techie side of me, so hubby and I just rely on him. No idea what to do if I lost my stuff, so now having 2 external hard drives really help a lot. Any of these computer related equipments are really important. When my family needs a new router I sent them one right away. You can't beat the price of this used cisco available online.

Pearl Paradise

I sincerely love pearls. I had a chance to work with fashion jewelry designers last 4 years ago and I had so much fun learning how to design. I wish I was able to stay, but since school was my priority that time, so I had to quit. But I can still design jewelry I believe even though I haven't touched my tools for quite awhile. I even still have materials left that I could use if I want to one of these days. I remember they went to India just to purchase precious stones for their upcoming shows and were just mesmerized with how wonderful they were. I am very lucky to own a few and my skills helped me create some for my friends and family. I've also heard Tahitian pearls are so unique and simply magnificent. I saw some jewelry today that I really liked and check these out aren't they impressive. They're definitely one of a kind!

Look What I've found

When we got home late last night I went ahead and checked the Lilypad right away. I saw Natalie B. has a new element pack, which is called the favorite flip flops. Oh aren't they cute? Here I am again drooling over these cute embellishments. I think they're way adorable. It sucks that I can't scrap because my computer is still not fixing. I plan to download all my scrapbooking/editing software and new printer here temporarily. No idea when is my computer going to be fixed. I just recently downloaded my digital camera/video cam drivers in this computer too. I don't want to get stuck without having my PC this week. Plus I got tons of photos to edit. I stumbled a few accessories, while browsing at this one store and saw this CAT5e. I am quite impressed of its features.

Photo Printer

My photo printer is finally delivered today including hubby's new camera. He actually indeed up getting a Canon PowerShot SD1100IS 8MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom. He paid a pretty reasonable amount for this package and I can't wait to set up my printer. I won't be able to use it yet, since my PC is still not working. The thing that I like about my printer too is that is has auto correction for poorly exposed photos using Auto Photo Correction with advanced face detection. This serves as my early birthday present too!

PC Problem

If you wonder why I haven't updated for about 5 days it's because my computer is not at home as of this moment. Hubby took it to his techie friend because it won't start up correctly last weekend. I kept getting this message files has been missing or corrupted. All I did was installed the w-packet3 update and my computer froze up; when I restarted it my PC won't run anymore. It's kind of expected already that it would take this long before I can get my PC back. Since Bill the guy who's going to fix it said my computer is really corrupted. So I am trying to make a post today using hubby's computer.

Here's Bill's reply this morning:

"I worked on your computer some last night and this morning. The XP operating system files are very corrupted and won't let your computer start up correctly. I have tried restoring the files, but there is more wrong than meets the eye. I will look at it more this evening and see if I can trick it into running again.

If I can't get it going I will need the Dell Restoration Discs for this computer to reinstall the operating system and Dell software. I can copy the data from the hard drive and copy it back after the reinstall is complete."

I don't know what else my PC needs I just hope Bill would be able to retrieve important files like my photos,scrapbooking stuff,photo actions,etc. I also need to upgrade the computer memory to insure the performance is much better once it's fix. He said to prevent these types of problems is to back up my data files,which I did months earlier.Yeah it's hard to keep up since I have new files everyday and some of them aren't backed up.I was going to do it last weekend,but it was too late.

He wants a powershot

Hubby can't really seem to figure out my rebel and he doesn't like the huge lens that comes with it. I can see how uncomfortable he is everytime he takes photos and the result is camera shake.It's not just his thing and that's why he wanted to have a P&S camera for himself.Plus he also wants to take short clips at the same time. He definitely wants this one before we go to Seaworld. He is been eyeing between Canon PowerShot S5 IS and the PowerShot SX100 IS. I just read the reviews in Amazon and a lot of them recommend Powershot S5 IS. I bet he would probably buy this one instead of the SX100. Yippee,for hubby!

4all Memory

My brother is so huge in computer games and the computer we sent needs a new ram or what we call Random Access Memory. My family had been having computer problems for awhile and I am glad it's fixed already. That was a pain having to ship a computer from the USA to the place,where there's hardly a computer repair shop. Every simple accessory that's not available there we need to order it here. When it comes to computer problems here at home Myke's friend is just a call away. Neither one of us has the ability to do what others can. So he mainly relies to his techie friend. It's always nice to consult a specialist to areas we are not good at,especially if it's computer related.

Anniversary Month

Hubby and I will be celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary this month. No idea what's his surprise for me. He tends to not really give me a hint of what's his plan for the big day. I was just browsing online and saw this Bertolucci watch. This totally makes me drool.What else could be the perfect gift. Oh let this woman have it. I know we will both appreciate whatever we come up with.

Summer Essentials

My little guy spends so much time in the pool lately.I've been also shopping some new swimming gears for him.We are so ready for Summer and we can't wait for our Seaworld vacation getaway next month.We still got a lot of things to prepare for this trip and I'm very thankful we have enough in our savings account to spend for this trip. We've been wanting this so bad and next month is really the perfect time.

Security System

My friend just mentioned about this whole vandalism thing going on in their neighborhood.They suspect it could be group of teenagers just wanting to damage any property.These are definitely the type of kids,who don't have proper parental guidance.I bet everyone's priority right now is to have a home security system.I don't know where else is safe. Even in parking lots it could be dangerous too. So to be surely safe especially at home get ademco security products.If we do it right it could definitely save lives and hopefully less damages in the future.

PSE Actions

I bet scrappers on all boards had spent a hefty amount for the NSD(National Scrapbooking Day) sales. I said to myself not to spent anything for kits this time. But rather spend it to new photo actions. Michelle Pearson has a 75% off on all her PSE,PS,PSP actions,so I had bought 8 actions from her store the other day. I obviously didn't scrap in the last month and I still got a lot of kits untouched in my stash. So that's one reason I don't want to splurge on digital kits. I have enjoyed this photography thing lately and might focus on this one as well. Scrapping will always be a part of me and creating pages could wait anytime. After playing the actions I bought the Urban Grunge Color Pop and the Processed Actions are my favorites.

Just a fad

I can still remember the chaos when the ipods first came out. Everyone wants to have one. Hubby was more interested to get one for me. So out of curiosity I ended up getting one for myself too. I was in the process of sending presents to my family and all my sisters and brother wanted were ipods. It's because they're special all their wishes were granted. Wherever I go I noticed everyone has one lol. I believe this was really a hit mostly to teenagers. No doubt it's a cool gadget!

Happy Camper

I was supposed to meet a friend the other day. While Josh and I were getting ready my friend then called she can't make it. Joshua wasn't very happy after I told him we're not going to meet his friends anymore. So I decided to take him to the Disney Store instead. I told him to buy whatever he wants using his b-day money given by friends and relatives. He actually picked Power Rangers Bath Towel,Nemo Cup,and Power Rangers Cars. He was such a happy camper that day. Just a cheap thrill! I also bought some stuff at Bath and Body Works and a few others.

Women can never have enough shoes

Why it isn't enough for women to own just two or three pairs of shoes. Hubby doesn't seem to get it yet lol. Everytime I see something cute and fits me well. I can't just get out of the store without buying it. Why we are always tempted to buy stuff and why isn't there a satisfaction.We just love to collect them and believe me most of those shoes we have maybe worn once or twice. No idea why,but all I know is that women can never have enough shoes. Oh well it's seems like it's time again to purchase some. I'll be attending a special occasion next month and these are my three picks.

Black Box

I definitely love the CAT6 ethernet cable standard. Performance wise it's definitely the best. Hubby always let his techy friend to check our computers if there's something wrong. Just by looking what he does I also learned a lot from him.It's also really interesting to know the uses of these materials too.I admit everyone in the family is quite an internet addict.Even my little guy sure can spend to many hours on the net.
