Simply Artistic

Josh and I went to Target earlier just to buy this art table that he saw online. He really wanted it so bad, that I can't say no and ended up buying it. When I showed it to daddy he seems to really like it a lot, so no worries. If there are three things that Joshua really loves to do and is good at; I would say it's definitely dancing,singing and doodling. As a mom yeah I can tell he would excel in any of these areas. You know he is only 5 years old, but his drawings are simply artistic and his interpretation of his artwork is just marvelous. Here's Josh,who's so engrossed with his artwork!

Budding Artist

I was so excited when I saw Jofia's new kit "The Artist Workshop". She came up with such an amazing set again. I just love the realistic look of the elements with this kit and now I could finally scrap Joshua's artwork. It's on sale now for $4.20 so check out her store at the Digichick. So far the layouts that had been posted using this kit are just marvelous and each one is very creative. We actually just bought Josh a flipping tabletop easel the other day and he's been showing off his artwork to us. He just loves to get dirty and do his thing. I can't wait to finally scrap it.
On the other hand, I was browsing online to check out vacation packages. Who knows in the next few months we will be going to any of the top destinations of the world. I stumbled upon St. Thomas villa rentals and it looks like a great place to stay in. Must be a perfect summer fun!

Like what I said the other day about my little one how much he loves to solve puzzles. Daddy just bought him 2 new sets and he got it solved the same day. I am just amazed of how much he enjoyed it. Puzzle

Guess what I was just done watching a movie in lifetime. It was really good and that's what we did after dinner. So nice to spend time with my family that way. We're so relax on bed cuddling and covered up.
Oh well my little one is into puzzle a lot. I am so proud of him today when he figured this one out. He really did a great job! So nice to see him really interested to learn and I know it's for his own good. He continues to amaze me everyday. Keep it up angel!

Ready to be sent out

I just decided to buy simple cards this year for my friends and family. It could have been wonderful to customize one like scrapbooking style. I would love too,but really don't have time. I am just too lazy plus I got tons on my list. Oh well hopefully it will be different next year a much better one. Definitely stylish!

Look who's writing

So Josh was trying to show off his writing skills to mom and dad the other day. He is really improving. He just started to study the 50 states as well. He can now identify the map of Texas and where it's located. Very impressive! I was trying to trick him one day and told him that wasn't Texas and he must be wrong. But then answered me "read it mom" ,so he believes in his instinct that it was Texas indeed and no one can fool him now,co'z he mastered it already. That was really a cute debate with him! Just thought of sharing this one too. He has a tendency of writing the E and the F backwards,but he is trying to make it perfect!

Practice makes perfect

I was a little bit surprised with Joshua today. Normally he doesn't like it when I ask him if he is ready to go to school. But today it seems that he likes it already hehe.. He mentioned a lot of things like his lunch box and his books and crayons. So he really has an idea now what are the things he needs to bring to school.
It might be a little harder transition at first ,but he needs to realize that it's also important to interact with other kids. So today I told him to practice and master coloring. He had his table set up and was very cooperative the whole time. We enjoyed the coloring session together.

When I was in HS I was so huge in paper scrapping and making cards. Though I wasn't using a very expensive materials,but my friends still loved it. Rubber Stamp

I woke up early and was playing with my photoshop a bit. Just had to play with the images effects and combine the rubber stamp,oil pastel and the lighting.
There are a lot of things you can do using that editing tool. I am lazy to open it sometimes,when I am stuck doing other things during the day.
But since I have a lot of photos to play with,so here it is. The result is too red!

Budding Artist

Guess what my little did early in the morning. When he woke up he had his table set up right away and started painting. You know stuff like this mom can't just sit and look. I am like a paparazzi hehehe.. snap,snap,snap! Just one click away and everything is documented. He is always praised by mom and dad as always, that he does a great job. Stroke his ego a bit and he will be the most happiest kid ever.
Looks like I have a budding little artist here.

Getting Crafty

Part of our trip to the store yesterday was to buy Joshua a new Watercolor set.
He was craving to draw and paint. He actually had an old set of paint,but I found it not easy to come off. I was a bit frustrated when he had that mess all over his hands and clothes. He was digging his old stuff and found that gift from his cousins. When I told him to stop playing with it he wasn't happy at all and daddy decided to buy him a new washable watercolor instead. I love the bold and beautiful colors of these set too.Seems like we have a happy 4 year old.

Coloring 101

My 4 year old obviously needs coloring instructions hehehe...
I have a hard time teaching this boy. Most of the time he doesn't want me coaching him. If he wants to color he will do it by himself and just be free. No mommy around. He wants to be alone. But later he will show everything to mommy and he wants to be praised too. He just started to write his name and notice in the first page he has his name written on it. "JOSHUA"
It might not be the perfect artwork,but he had fun doing it.
If you could just see his face,when he showed it to me. He was so proud!

Feeling Artsy

Gosh, it's kinda boring right now. I've been browsing PPP's marketplace. I have like 4 pages mostly $5 opps hehehe.. The higher paying campaigns are like taken,so quickly. I guess this is all I can take until my PR will go up. I hope it will improve in their next update.


I was able to squeeze my scrapping as well. I just thought of creating some like this,where I can actually feature Joshua's most favorite things. This is just a chunk of what he really loves. This boy goes to Mcdonald's once a week,he loves art,music,reading,writing,yogurt/smoothies,waterparks and a lot lot more.
Notice the ribbon in my second scrapbook page. I downloaded this ribbon awhile back. This was a freebie and haven't used it yet until now. I think it's really gorgeous.
