Discover Wildlife

I don't know what happened last night, but I had a terrible stomach ache and I wasn't able to sleep. I woke up late today and it came to my realization, that it's my cleaning day. So I forced myself to clean up a little bit and organized Joshua's toys and throw some of his junks. He tends to keep these free toys, which he gets every time we buy kid's meal. I just can't keep them anymore, so I went ahead and tossed them away. He actually agreed that it's time to get rid of that stuff and of course he was very possessive of his real toys. I am amazed of what I have accomplished today and I am almost done. I am just taking a break cleaning, so I have to do a few tasks here online and be back to my chores in a bit. I also have to finalize our trip to Fossil Rim Wildlife Center next week. It's a scenic wildlife drive and if we have enough time we would love to swing by at the Dinosaur World or the Dinosaur Valley State Park as well. We are really trying to do as many activities this year because once Joshua will start school then trips like this is going to be very limited already. We are also planning to go to Utah at winter time and yeah can't beat the summer beach vacation in Hilton Head Island. I've heard this is one of South Carolina's beautiful islands. Fair Park Dallas

We decided to watch fireworks tonight at Fair Park instead of going to the Trinity River Fiesta. To me it's just more of a family-friendly event and since we're familiar of the place that might help Joshua not to get bored while waiting for the fireworks show at around 9:30pm. Starting at 5pm. today all fair park museums are open and there are also a lot of games for everyone to enjoy. Other scheduled shows for tonight are definitely a must see. I am looking forward to seeing more this year and it would be great if this event will be followed by a family summer beach vacation. That sounds really awesome and yeah I know exactly where to go for a travel guide.

The Alamo

When we visited San Antonio Downtown last week hubby was so persuasive to see The Alamo first. I have a little knowledge about the city's history, but hubby was nice to educate me and it was great seeing the place up close. We then perused the popular river walk and had our dinner over there. No doubt the city has definitely a Spanish feel to it. We also noticed the vendors nearby and we had to buy Josh an ice cone. The purpose of the trip was for SeaWorld Adventure, but we chose to stay in downtown to see part of the city,but we're definitely going back there. Our time was very limited so I hope next time we could plan to stay for at least a week to see the rest. It's only 4 and a half hour drive, so driving over there isn't that bad. It's also nice to see the neighboring towns and cities. If only I were rich, then I won't hesitate to hire a private jet charter next time I'll go back there. Oh yeah that sounds really great!

Budding Artist

I was so excited when I saw Jofia's new kit "The Artist Workshop". She came up with such an amazing set again. I just love the realistic look of the elements with this kit and now I could finally scrap Joshua's artwork. It's on sale now for $4.20 so check out her store at the Digichick. So far the layouts that had been posted using this kit are just marvelous and each one is very creative. We actually just bought Josh a flipping tabletop easel the other day and he's been showing off his artwork to us. He just loves to get dirty and do his thing. I can't wait to finally scrap it.
On the other hand, I was browsing online to check out vacation packages. Who knows in the next few months we will be going to any of the top destinations of the world. I stumbled upon St. Thomas villa rentals and it looks like a great place to stay in. Must be a perfect summer fun!

2 weeks more to go

...and we will be going to San Antonio Seaworld. Hubby finally booked our trip and we're just so excited to go there and my little guy always talks about it everyday. I am glad we were able to purchase a pretty reasonable price for this vacation package. If not with the discount they offerred online we could have paid more. It's been confirmed and everything is set already including the hotel,where we're going to stay. There are still a few things to buy like a handy camera for hubby because he can't figure out my rebel lol. Maybe purchase new clothes for my little guy,accessories for myself,and other important things for the trip. Can't wait to get away for awhile!

Summer Fun

Hubby is so nice to book a family trip this year and of course everyone is super excited. What else could be the perfect family gift? Summer is just around the corner and I bet everyone is looking forward to visiting any of the top destinations of the world. If you're adventurous I bet you won't miss going to any of the world cruises either.Eventhough our trip this year isn't going to be in Europe,Hawaii,or Carribean,but I know it's still going to be a fun journey.It's definitely something we have hankered for awhile and finally we have it booked.No doubt it's going to be a terrific Summer!

Summer Essentials

My little guy spends so much time in the pool lately.I've been also shopping some new swimming gears for him.We are so ready for Summer and we can't wait for our Seaworld vacation getaway next month.We still got a lot of things to prepare for this trip and I'm very thankful we have enough in our savings account to spend for this trip. We've been wanting this so bad and next month is really the perfect time.

Dream place to visit

One of my dream places to visit is definitely New Zealand. My bestfriend's family moved there 10 years ago and she said the place is really beautiful. No words can describe how much she loved the place and looking at the photographs she had sent me. It really makes me want to go there anytime soon. I really didn't travel much in the last five years. After gaving birth with my son I only travelled thrice and that was it. That's why this year hubby and I agreed to take some time off from work and travel to these places we've been wanting to visit. I am just thrilled thinking about this plan at the moment. If the time permits we're definitely heading that route.This must be really fun and knowing I would see my bestfriend is just really exciting. We've had a few short trip just around USA,which we also loved. But it sure is fun to see what other countries have. It's just a matter of time and budget for this trip. We could book our ticket anytime and I am sure there are cheap flights to New Zealand. It's also wise to be informed before visiting any foreign countries. Vegas Trip

Our family reunion is just around the corner and we are certainly excited about this event. Last year we all had a blast and I bet this year is going to be more fun. Hubby and I talked over this and we know the budget for this trip is quite high. Not to mention the fare,food,hotel expenses and many others. I know our relatives are going to be sad if we can't make it. Hubby is really trying his best,so we can make it this year again. Just wondering how much we're going to spend for hotels in las vegas. Crossing my fingers here we can make it. So we will see!

Summer Fun

No doubt I love Spring season.The last couple of weeks all we did was visiting different botanic gardens just to take photos of flowers. The other day was no exception. I have tons of flower photos again. We just love walking underneath the trees and feel the cool breeze in the garden. On the other hand I can't also wait to enjoy Summer. The only thing we don't have here close by is the beach. We need to drive 3-5 hours to see one. But that won't stop us to enjoy the Summer and if need be why not go to Mexico right? Tons of beautiful beaches over there. Sporting a nice beach bike is definitely a great addition. Must travel

Don't you just want to unwind in the most beautiful destinations in the world. I bet everyone is anxious to hit the beaches and waterparks this coming Summer. I was just talking to a friend and mentioned going to the Hawaiin Falls. I think we could save if we're going to get a season ticket. The kids would definitely want to go there the whole Summer. Just a perfect time for the whole family to enjoy. Others might want to consider island hopping anywhere near the Outer Banks. We have gazillion plans and places we wanna go to,so we will see!

Orlando Attractions

The most exciting part this year is our upcoming family vacation. Myke's schedule hasn't really been this good and he really wanted this personal time off. Now that my little one is ready to visit places like Disneyworld and Seaworld so we planned on going next month to Seaworld first. One of the reasons we were not in a hurry to take him to places like this is that we want him to be ready and in the right age to be able to enjoy it. I believe 6 years old and beyond must be not hard to handle because all they want is to have fun. So all the money to be spend for this particualar vacation is worth it. A few things everyone should consider is a place to stay in. My little guy has a hard time adopting new places and he has hard time sleeping too. The remedy we can think of is find a place where it feels like home. We might consider staying at Lake Buena Vista Hotels . Not to mention that they're really close to any of the Orlando Attractions like the Orlando Convention Center, SeaWorld®, Universal Studios®, and the Florida Mall. It's very convenient to be near any of these places and yeah who would want to miss shopping. I would definitely want to be close to any of the Orlando attractions. It's an advantage to stay in hotels like this because if you don't know your way around,then it won't be hard to locate them because they're right there in the heart of the city. That's what I like about visiting other cities to be able to see what they have. There's also an upcoming event in Orlando called the “2008 American Urological Association Annual Meeting” and anyone who will visit the city Orlando Vista Hotel would be a perfect choice. They're more than willing to accomodate attendees. So look no further because they offer great rates. Enjoy your stay while you're there!

Golf Resort

Growing up I always enjoyed sports. I was very energetic and competitive on all games.I can see that my little guy is definitely very active and loves outdoors too. We would love him to enjoy sports as well whatever it is that he is passionate about. There are tons of activities out there perfect for kids and the whole family. We have plans to visit places in the next few months and having friends with us is also a fun idea. Just like going to Branson golf is absolutely a perfect plan.

Branson Getaways

If you've been just focusing on work all your life. Why not take a break and have a vacation. You know everyone so deserves one. Hubby is a great example he's such a workaholic and doesn't have time for other things. Only after we got married he kind of embrace giving time for himself. Everything is worthless if you won't be able to enjoy what you have earned. That's what we are going to do this year. He is going to finalize his schedule and we will be able to plan our vacation dates right away. Going to SeaWorld is definitely one and he also mentioned Branson Getaways. He's been wanting to go back there. Him and a family friend went there before I met him and he's interested to experience it with us. I bet my little guy would love the Water Rides,Go Kart Track,Miniature Golf,Outdoors-Theme Park and of course the Family Entertainment Centers. While Myke would definitely be interested in Museums and other Branson shows as well. Yeap don't forget the Branson Shopping because that's where I am heading. We are planning to have short trips in the next few months. Going to SeaWorld and to a drive thru Zoo are what we have in our list already. I know it's going to be fun.
